Auron B(not that guy) yeah all of the ascalon soldiers be they war or rabger wear that uniform with few exceptions(war master grast and the other warmaster..the really old guy with the grey armor on and the burning scepter mages) so insinuating that tydus is a warior cause he wears war armor is not very acurate. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.30.234.120 .

I was assuming it was in the dialogues for choosing a secondary profession. You'd have to check the quest page because all quest related dialogue is kept there. - BeX 02:10, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

To quote his dialog in Presearing: " I have quite a reputation as a Warrior, but there are many times I've used my Elementalist skills to penetrate defenses that my sword cannot. I also considered the Monk profession for its healing ability, but for me dealing damage was more important." this is all i can find about hinting slightly to him being an W/E LazloW 18:35, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

The note/trivia that says: "Incidentally, we also learn before the Searing that he chose elementalist as his secondary profession." I've looked through most everything in pre and haven't seen any mention of him and elementalists, so unless someone can add a link or the actual in-game quote from it, I think it should be removed. 24.233.254.51 18:08, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

If you talk to him while you have the quest A Second Profession active, his dialogue includes, "I have quite a reputation as a Warrior, but there are many times I've used my Elementalist skills to penetrate defenses my sword cannot." Plactus 14:27, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
