Talk:Zhed Shadowhoof
I don't know why, but ever since GW:EN came out, zhed has been acting a lot like a wammo. I was fighting a group, and he runs off (he is set as a nuker) and attracts a mob at the far end of my compass. Its just not an occasional thing, but becoming very often, and its always zhed. I usually don't have problems with heroes/henchies, but anyone else notice a change in hero AI?
i havnt really noticed any problems like that (disregards the fact that he is the reincarnation of leeroy jenkins)
Centaur...ish[edit]
Centaurs are supposed to have the bottom of a horse, the top of a man. Zhed's top dosent looks man to me (especially the head).--24.155.195.103 02:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Centaurs, just like many other magic races, always have different interpretations. The Guild Wars brand of Centaur just isn't quite the same as the "general" Centaur look, but it's still a Centaur. Same with Pixies and Sprites; generally they're small, winged creatures, but sometimes they have antennae, different legs, or even no wings. They're still Sprites, just not the popular versions of them. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 03:00, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, Elonian centaurs have the head of a gazelle. It's actually mentioned in the manual. -- ab.er.rant 03:09, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Based in Elona, like an African savannah, I guess it makes sense that he has the head of a gazelle. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.174.38.31 (talk • contribs) at 07:06, 13 June 2012 (UTC).
Argument...[edit]
am i the only one that has noticed that Zhed and Dunkoro have an argument when they are both out in th same explorable area? Treesbyty 14:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- Which explorable were you in and what quests do you have active? -- ab.er.rant 00:50, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Its basically any quest or explorable area(i think) but i do remember it happening Arkjok Ward. Both me and my brother have witnessed it at different times. Bring Talkora with you (as back when remember seeing it, i always brought those 3) because see might effect it Treesbyty 14:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Z2: Quotement Day[edit]
So I was sort of surprised to see that one of Zhed's (idle) quotes isn't listed either here or on GuildWiki: "Come with me if you want to live." Problem is, I don't know if it's a storyline-dependent quote or not. I had taken various screenshots of stuff, including quotes, and I never got around to actually checking them on the site until now (been having too much fun playing!). I'll try to remember to use Zhed sometime on my character who has beaten Nightfall, to see if I can get the quote, but I just thought I'd point it out here for anyone else to check it out. :) Capcom 04:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- He says it before you have completed the Kodonur Crossroads mission. I don't know if he does afterwards. Paddymew 12:22, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Ninja Centaur[edit]
Zhed looks cool if you give him daggers, but he won't do the backflips for skills like Blades of Steel. - Elder Angelus 14:41, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Tanking Zhed[edit]
Don't know if anyone has noticed but it seems to me that Zhed is always running in next to enemies acting like a tank. I have tried several different builds and noticed the same thing with each build. Doesn't matter if i have him on attack or guard either.
- Were you running touch range skills like shock or PBAoE spells like aftershock? Or does zhed have a melee weapon? It would be way easier to see why if you actually put his equipments and skills here.Pika Fan 14:57, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
I don't remember the exact build I was using at the time but I did try the same build I was using on Acolyte Sousuke and didn't have any problems. I think I was using Staff of the Forgotten as the weapon.--68.74.163.120 11:38, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've used zhed latly too and I can assure that he is always can be found in the frontline for no reason (I'm using a nuking build not tanking nor PBAoE) --89.139.108.169 14:31, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've had the same problem with Zhed as well, and he's always set up with nuking skills (no touch skills whatsoever) and caster weapons, yet he insists on running in. There's centaur arrogance for you. Elaniel 16:18, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Sieg heil?[edit]
i cant be the only oen to notice that how he thrusts his arm out when he casts somthing like fire attunment he looks like hes doing the nazi salute, it also remidns me of the Roman Salute being the basis for the nazi salute btu still wierd huh, that and symbolicly Kourna would better fall under that state being the persecutors of the centuarsso even wierder--Lord randy taylor 21:12, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
"For The Pride!"?[edit]
Am I the only one that's noticed this? "For The Pride" is one of the battle quotes from Warcraft 3. It's either the Tauren Chieften, or just the Tauren, but it's definatly one of them.

My comment[edit]
My note on this page was deleted by ab.er.rant, please don't delete it again. I've added a link to my user page for a link to the Warriors website homepage.--Necro Shea Mo 22:53, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Bug?[edit]
Noticed a bug when Z wields a normal (common) fire staff, the flame hovers a short distance above the end of the staff instead of inside the twisted bit on top, should that be added to the main page? (I have noticed a similar issue when using the flowstone and ruby djinn polymock pieces and wonder if it happens elsewhere?)
Sword of Truth Trivia[edit]
I dont think this is meant to have any reference to the Zedd in Sword of Truth. In the books a) its spelt differently, b) its the shortened version of the name, and c) they have very little in common (ie centaur vs human). Lυмιиαяυs 14:57, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
