Considering adding secondary variations for primary and dungeon quests. Backsword 05:59, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

What do you mean by that? Other icons are coming as soon as they are finished. Currently requested are Master quest and Solo quest. poke | talk 09:04, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
If you look above the heads of quest giver NPCs ingame, you'll notice that some quests use a different icon than the normal one. Backsword 06:07, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Quests all have a green exclamation mark for new quests and an arrow for continuing a quest. Then there is an icon for Nightfall missions (which are not listed as quests, so no icon needed) and a kind of triangle for dungeons. I think you mean that triangle? poke | talk 08:16, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Think I've seen both the 'small round shield with two swords' and the 'heater shield' icon used for prioritised quests. Backsword 16:37, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

The Primary quest seems a little weird to me. Why not use the Green one for Primary quests?--§ Eloc § 21:11, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

I think it would be better for new users if we used whatever is used ingame. Backsword 10:21, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
But make sure it's tango ;).--§ Eloc § 16:10, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
The problem is that there is no explicit icon for primary quests. We only have a green exclamation mark for all quests and imo a red color is good to show the difference there.. poke | talk 21:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
But we won't need a quest icon for Secondary quests.--§ Eloc § 22:35, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
But we need an icon for quests in general. poke | talk 01:36, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Why would we need an icon for quests in general as it's just used beside the quest name and anything that isn't tagged is just considered secondary?--§ Eloc § 04:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
One example are the Lists of skills.. poke | talk 14:46, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Well, you got me there ;P.--§ Eloc § 17:53, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Master difficulty[edit]

Would it be nice to have an icon for marking master difficulty as well? Or would it be fine to just list, say, "A Decayed Monument (Difficulty: Master)" in location articles? -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 17:46, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Sure, give me a nice idea and I'll try to create an icon! :) poke | talk 22:20, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Following the pattern, maybe a bluish tango one? Calor (t) 22:21, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, what hints at something being more difficult? My first thought was red, but then that's already taken by the primary quest. Maybe yellow or orange might be more eye-catching than blue? -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 14:46, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Colours[edit]

Why not use Green for Quests, Orange for 'Primary' Quests, Red for 'Master Difficulty' Quests... Copy the Red icon and repost as 'Master' one, then replace the original with a re-coloured (re-colored) Orange version. 78.86.80.123 22:07, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Prefer a red version for primary quests. But feel free to bring this up on the quest article formatting talk page. poke | talk 22:19, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Tango[edit]

Why do the icons need the trademark of a soft drink as part of their name? May as well call them cola... 78.86.80.123 22:07, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

They have "Tango" in its name because that is the graphics style of those icons. poke | talk 22:17, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
