Example[edit]

This example shows progression for "There's Nothing to Fear!".

Someone wants to comment before I apply it to sunspear skills? Chriskang 15:08, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes, note that we may want to include SoI levels, as that seems to be what the skills are fundamentally based on. That is, they are attribute based, and the title tracks are translated into attributes before use. Backsword 15:10, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Formula[edit]

What is the formula used to calculate the progression?

Problem with progression for at least one skill[edit]

There seems to be a problem with how this template calculates the values for ranks 1-9, for some skills. Compare Never Rampage Alone (incorrect) with Guild Wiki (correct) (at least based on Talk:Never Rampage Alone). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 04:01, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect as of May 17th update[edit]

All skills I have looked at show maximum power being achieved at rank 6. All characters that have rank 5 in any of the EoTN ranks are at the maximum values for skills of those particular title tracks. 69.183.223.75 16:37, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Skill revision[edit]

The history for all the skills that were changed in the last update are now incorrect right? - Bex User BeXoR sig.gif 07:19, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

What do you mean by "history"? Are you referring to the skill history pages? --Silver Edge 07:22, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Rank 0[edit]

Why does this template display rank 0? Sunspear title skills cannot be learned before reaching rank 1. Can Eye of the North title skills be used at rank 0? {{Skill progression max12}} has the same issue, since you cannot learn Kurzick/Luxon skills before attaining rank 1. --Silver Edge 01:24, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

Nothing would stop you from using Norn Skills at r0, if you can reach and finish the skill quests before accumulating too many reputation points. For some skills with extensive quest requirements (like Summon Mursaat), that's not actually possible, but for most skills, it is. Only the title skill is given after reaching r1.
Sunspear- and Allegiance-skills are given by skill trainers, and those check for r1.
I had tried to fix this and other issues on this template, but it met heavy resistance due to a slight regression in a corner case. So.. guess we'll stick with the bugs. Tub 11:03, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
