When you're a good player, running a bad elite skill and beating people that think you suck with it gives you such a great feeling. Out of pure boredom for syncing typical solid setups, Bamboo and I run this and hope for a decent monk with holy veil in RA and a useful guy on the last spot. Using the skills to their full advantage will get you out of many many situations in Random Arenas, especially when you're playing with another great frontliner you know and have played with a lot. Having a secondary monk profession will give you an ever better look. Enemy monks will most likely think "Wtf we've been owned by two Defy Pain wammos!?"
This is a frontline duo sync for Random Arenas. Along with a half-decent monk with proper stance(s), playing this Warrior duo is a great way to have fun in Guild Wars, a game that is hardly exciting anymore. A standard sword bar along with a direct interrupt will typically take care of troublesome skills (Empathy, Insidious, Plague Sending, Diversion, Word of Healing, etc) very well. Along with Axe pressure, the conditional interrupt although being less versatile can be nicely timed to interrupt a crucial Word of Healing or Mending Touch on a healing backline. Frenzy is used to outpressure the opposing team as you can typically perma maintain it without any major health nor energy issues (Armor-Ignoring damage being the exception). Sprint is favored over Rush for better adrenaline management as well as the small need to use a cancel stance when Defy Pain is up. Common sense needed.
