Illusion Magic[edit]

I would like to see the Attribute of Illusion Magic more like the name sais.

Illusionary Weaponry[edit]

I like the idea about an attacking caster, who attempts to attack, doesn't hit, but still hurts.
But this Elite does not work with other skills of the Mesmer. One Problem ist, that he has to attack with this enchantment. If he would waste time with casting spells, he would lose important seconds for damaging. I didn't found a real sollution yet, but maybe just balance this Elite like this:

10 Energy1 Activation time15 Recharge time - (Illusion Magic) - Elite Enchantment Spell. For 30 seconds, your melee attacks and melee attack skills deal no damage, but whenever you attack in melee, target foe takes 3...37...45 damage.

 attacks shouldn't fail --> gain adrenaline, use the effect of attackskills (without the extra dmg), interrupt trapper / dazed caster, etc.

Because the Mesmer has to into melee, he needs a some helping skills like:

5 Energy1 Activation time15 Recharge time - (Illusion Magic) - Enchantment Spell. Lose 50...202...240 Health. You take 50% more damage from every source but gain 50% more Health from healing. End effect: you gain 100...404...480 Health. Ends if damage drops your Health below 25% of your maximum.

 seems like the Mesmer would have a few max Hp and allready lost a few points but on the other hand it protects from spikes

and my new skill idea:

  • Mesmer-tango-icon-20.png Illusion of light Armor -

5 Energy1 Activation time15 Recharge time - (Illusion Magic) - Enchantment Spell. For 5...20...24 seconds, you have additional 4 base damage reduction (maximum 20) for every Illusion Magic hex on the striking foe. The damage shown to the striking foe appears without reduction from any source.
