Linking to categories and images[edit]

Heya. If you use [[:Category:ArenaNet content]] (notice the colon at the front), the wiki will present it as a link Category:ArenaNet content instead of actually adding the page to that category. You can use the same trick to link to an image, [[:Image:Burst of Aggression.jpg]] → Image:Burst of Aggression.jpg, for example. --Dirigible 03:59, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Thanks, sure appreciate that. :) Banaticus 04:00, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm pretty sure your image of Blaze Bloodbane is actualy Bonfaaz Burntfur due to the red aura of an elementalist instead of the blue-white of a monk. Sorry if this is in the wrong place as well. Zsatcha Moritu 21:38, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Margonites are demons[edit]

Margonites are a subspecies of Demons, as they take extra damage with a demonslaying weapon upgrade. As such, they don't need to be under both Category:Bosses by species and Category:Demon bosses, for the same reason that Skeletons and Awakened are only listed under Category:Undead, and not under Category:NPCs by species, or why Luxon and Kurzick are listed under Category:Humans instead of a species of their own.

As stated in Formatting:Categories, "An article should not be in both a category and its subcategory. Do look at the relationships that your target category has. If there is a more specific and appropriate category, use only the more specific one; although exceptions do exist". Hope that makes sense. --Dirigible 20:02, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Moved user images[edit]

As mentioned on my talk page, images can't be moved, only reuploaded (which can be done by anyone). I reuploaded the 2 images you requested as Image:User Banaticus DireWarpigBabe.jpg and Image:User Banaticus FarmerHoggit.jpg, which follows user image name convention, marked the old images for deletion, and updated the links on your user page. I hope this suits your purposes. --Rezyk 21:26, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Sure does, thanks. :) Feel free to delete those images whenever you'd like. Banaticus 08:39, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
