Welcome to the Official Wiki[edit]

Hi Dancing Gnome, welcome to the wiki! Just wanted to say 'hi' and point you towards Help:Contents, a good place to start if you have any questions, as well as Guild_Wars_Wiki:Helpers, a group of people who have offered to help and give assistance where needed. If you have any specific questions, feel free to leave a message on my or anyone listed as a Helper's talk pages and we'll sort you out. - Thulsey Zheng - talk 06:27, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Why are you so eager to find ways to insult others without breaking policy? -- Gem (gem / talk) 14:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for polluting my user page with baseless garbage. Dancing Gnome 11:34, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh, you're a positive fellow. :) I think you understood me incorrectly. What I was asking is that I want to know why you are looking for loopholes in the NPA policy. Is it that you want to use them or fix them? -- Gem (gem / talk) 11:40, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Banana-cookie milkshake. -- Gem (gem / talk) 20:12, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

RAAAAAAAAAAAA COOKIES!!!!!!!!! --- Raptors / RAAAAAAAAAA!

Hi.[edit]

Stay away from policy talk pages until you know what you're talking about. Spewing crap about sysops trying to take control is utter nonsense; your paranoia is unfounded and, from what I've seen, bordering on insanity. Just leave it alone. GWiki got along very well for 2 years on powerful sysops; well enough that ANet wanted those same sysops to sysop their official wiki too. If there's was anything wrong with the system, it would have been rectified.
People like you weaken this wiki overall. Instead of helping craft a solution, you create nonsense policy after nonsense policy - none of which solve anything. Your posts border on trolling (when they aren't trolling outright) and you have no support for pretty much every claim you make.
If you are honestly trying to help the wiki, know that not posting at all would be a greater help than what you're doing now. -Auron 10:59, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

The word irony would likely fit here, then again it takes one to know one. Just because someone doesn't think the same as you doesn't mean their viewpoint is invalid - like you said almost no support implying some. Almost all opposition has been statements which account to no reasoning, logic or evidence to support them, simply "this is not needed" or "this fails". They are drafts, not actual proposals. They are not intended to be perfect but evolve with constructive discussion to a point they can be submitted as proposals. I have also seen numerous times this is not a democracy. Irony is a wiki which I come to because I play a game has kept me away from the game for an entire day. Dancing Gnome 11:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Just a friendly note[edit]

Because you appear to not have noticed, and thus have been (most likely unintentionally) typo'ing it, my user name has two a's in it. Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 14:17, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry I did notice and know about the two "i"s and it isn't an intentional misspell. There would be a lot more errors in my typing if it weren't for my spell check, which your name is obviously not fixed by. I will try to be more careful in the future, this is a typo, thanks for understanding. Dancing Gnome 14:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
You're hardly the first person who has mistyped my name, and I doubt you'll be the last. "Aiine" and "Aiane" are both versions that seem to pop up with some regularity, as well as "Aliane". :) Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 14:32, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

User Page Policy Link[edit]

It is just a commentary on my recent contributions regarding policies, nothing to do with a perception of other users or their policies. Dancing Gnome 16:24, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I hope people aren't taking all this too personally. Atleast I'm not against any single person, just against some policies, suggestions and ideas and I hope that holds true for others too. :) -- Gem (gem / talk) 17:26, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
