Armor rating[edit]

What is it you don't understand about the tables? --JonTheMon 04:28, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

The tables do not have defined columns which actually explain what the numbers are for. I suck at math and I don't really want to have to whip out a calculus book to start understanding the finer points of armor ratings. I feel that these tables are written more for ppl with advanced math skills and not the average player. The first table is easy enough to understand of course, but the other 2 are poorly labeled. The positive and negative numbers are not explained (not even through decent column labels) and neither is the content in the table that follows. If I could understand the numbers I'd make the changes myself. 10:46:06 November 10(UTC)

I made some changes (describe each table). Is it clearer now? --JonTheMon 14:56, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your modifications and they are indeed more understandable. At this point it looks like i'll still have to upgrade my math skills to make total sense of it, but that is my problem no one else's.

Guild:Celestials Vengeance (historical)[edit]

It has come to my attention that this guild is actually still active and would like to update their page, but are unable to. I was wondering if there is a way to change the page category to allow this to happen. Please get back to me when able.

I moved your guild page back to active status Guild:Celestials Vengeance. You could have done this yourself by using the move tab at the top and remove the (historical) from the title and then change the {{historical guild}} tag to the regular {{guild}} tag. Happy editing :D --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 07:15, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Guild:PHOENIX RECREATED[edit]

I need help with the title of this page I was not intending it to be all capital letters. I actually just want the first letter of every word Capitalized. I'm not sure how I would do this myself or even if I can due to site limitations.

In the future you can fix misnamed pages, simply use the Move tab at the top and rename it. I have done it for you this time. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 08:40, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

It has come to my attention that this guild is still active and would like to edit their page, but are unable to due to its current status.

Leeching Title[edit]

I can't help, but notice that leeching is still happening with every bit of fervor as it has been. Myself and friends of mine have come to believe that perhaps a leecher title is needed.

  • a player gets a 2 points when either the entire team or 3 different people across 3 separate rounds report them
  • it randomly selects 4 titles the user has worked on to degrade as they get more dishonor points
  • it makes all trade transactions cost more reguardless of the trade being between players or a player and npc
  • it blocks out all other titles and is always displayed when 1st rank is achieved
  • all npc's the leeching player talks to constantly remind them that they have to charge more because the player leeches
  • after achieving rank 1 the leeching player can't enter any pvp areas
  • the title is applied to the account not the character
  • rank 1 achieved after getting 10-15 points
  • title would be removed the same way dishonor currently is
  • even if it isn't made part of the title there should be a way to find out how many points a player has

Do I think Anet will add such a title? Not likely, but I hope they do, because leeching has to stop somehow and current measures aren't working. People either abuse the reporting feature or simply get reported because someone simply doesn't want to party with them the next time around. Overall the current system is ineffective and now there are even people leeching just to prove that people don't report, because they don't want to be the only one reporting. As it stands people stand a greater chance of getting dishonor for reporting than being reported.

Main Page[edit]

I have noticed that under the items section the consumables page isn't listed. One has to get to the consumables page either via the search box or in a round-about way through crafting material pages. I don't know if this was intentional or just forgotten either way I really do think they should change this.

Brotherhood Of Balance guild page[edit]

I regret that it has been a while since I've been able edit the info on this page, but I have done so today. I hope that this page isn't moved into the historical section anytime soon as my guild is still active. I will en-devour to edit the page more often to avoid gaining historical status.

No worries, I removed the inactive tag. It's not a problem if a guild page gets archived that is still active, the page can easily be moved back. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 05:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
