A little late but...

I wanted to wish you & Kalomeli a Happy Anniversary! I just saw that on your user page, and since it was just a couple of days ago I thought I'd send you this message. Young love is great, isn't it? Always, Goddess Wills 24.58.228.5

Thank you! Love is awesome! -- Gem (gem / talk) 04:13, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Diablo

What's Kalomeli playing? :D Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 20:15, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

It's the original Diablo, not DII. She is playing a Rogue. -- Gem (gem / talk) 20:22, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Ooooh, I remember that one....it was addicting. o.0 Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 20:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Gem, please reconsider leaving the wiki (at least forever)...The recent events have been bad, but you didn't do anything to feel bad about. Don't let the mistakes of other users to make we lose such a good contributor for the Wiki, it's going to need your help more than ever with the release of GW:EN. Erasculio 23:07, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Hes not leaving, hes taking a temporally brake, at least until GW:EN, thats what i would do/am doing? ~ KurdKurdsig.png 23:09, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Gem, I don't quite understand what's bothering you. Mind being more explicit? —Tanaric 23:12, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
I think hes page explains it: Was really active on GWWiki, but will most likely contribute a lot less due to having lost the sysop tools which he used for most of his work on the wiki. Doesn't have much time to play the game.. ~ KurdKurdsig.png 23:26, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
The link in the warning box links to a discussion in which Karlos succeeded in insulting me, deliberately or not. That and the recent war mongering and squabling is making contributing mostly a negative experience to me. Before this I could always run away from the trouble to do some deleting or stuff, but losing my sysop status just days before this prevents me from doing that either and I don't feel any commitment to the wiki like I did before.
Summary: The reason is an unfortunate chain of events in real life and the wiki. Like someone said, I might get the desire to play and wiki when GW:EN is out or earlier or later or never. -- Gem (gem / talk) 08:45, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I'm not pissed off or red from anger, I'm just disappointed in which way the wiki community is going. I just don't enjoy this stuff in it's current shape and plan to use my time for something else. -- Gem (gem / talk) 08:47, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Ass

Faggot. You betrayed the real wiki for this shit. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:151.198.10.224 .

This is violating GWW:NPA, please refrain form making such comments. - anja talk 17:35, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Poor Gem... so many other users have accounts on both wikis and he gets targeted. Comes with having a short name :P -- ab.er.rant sig 01:42, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
I blame Biro. - BeX iawtc 02:25, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
This is the real wiki -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 02:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
This is the official wiki; but official =/= real. Is Guildwiki... fake? -Auron 02:27, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Don't you feel how real this is? The GuildWiki is like reality TV, I mean it's kind of real, but it's not really real. GWW is like a documentary, it's very real, more real than reality. Hmm still not enough "reals", you know what I love, how real old reel-to-reel cinema feels, that's real cinema and this is the real wiki, really. --Xasxas256 02:37, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
GuildWiki is an elaborate ruse. They don't want you to know the Truth. - Tanetris 02:46, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
I shouldnt have been so harsh but. Anet fucks up the game enough. We dont need to encourage them. And in general this wiki just sucks. I talked to gem not because his name is short, smart one. I talked to him because he was major on the old wiki. The true wiki. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:151.198.10.224 .
Well, if you're still concerned about the game and the wiki enough to bother complaining, I actually think Anet did a good job in that you're still into the game... because if I thought Anet did a bad job, I'd be playing another game. And like I said, Gem wasn't the only "major" user on the older wiki. You might want to compare the user lists. And oh, I think you might like to know that just because GuildWiki exists doesn't mean nobody else is allowed to create wikis... (and yes, there are alot of wikis on GW). -- ab.er.rant sig 03:09, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
I find it amusing that you say this wiki sucks. Many of our contributors moved their contributions from there to here. We're not doing too badly for article count, considering it's only been a few months, compared to gwiki's years. And we even have articles they dont. :P - BeX iawtc 05:09, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
I think only just recently there's more edits in the recent changes here than there. --Xasxas256 05:35, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
We don't need to encourage them to do what exactly? We don't need to encourage them to provide free hosting space for something we've been doing anyway? to help participate by providing content like NPC and monster renders? to make Gaile and various other Anet staff available to us when we have questions best answered by them as well as to chit-chat? to feature us both right up at top of the guildwars.com page and through the game help system? If your objection is that this wiki isn't as complete as GuildWiki, we're just as good if not better on new content, and we're catching up on the older stuff at a pretty good pace. - Tanetris 05:37, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Wikis should be run by the COMMUNITY not be offshoots of whoever makes thegame. That hands them control and they can regulate the information. I know this is sounding communist plot but w/e lol. Just what the hell is wrong with supporting the people who have been around longer and did alot for the community. To guy who proud of the article count: Thas because you have guildwiki to work from! guildwiki never had that!
This wiki is run by the community. All the policies here are written by ordinary contributors. And as for the article count, the articles that I referred to were ported over by the people that wrote them. And there is a great deal of information here that has been written and collected from scratch. - BeX iawtc 05:03, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
I support this wiki, and I helped found the GuildWiki. What more do you need to stop this silly argument, anon? —Tanaric 07:31, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
