- re: this edit
Thanks for correcting the double-redirect. (I also appreciate you taking the time to leave a small note in the summary :-)
For reference, it's always okay to fix links (maintenance edits, etc). I only have concerns when people assume or try to guess what I might have meant with an edit. (e.g. the header in this section is intentional, but someone could imagine I meant something else). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 02:03, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yw. I know Slaver's is redirected more on many user pages... That's the only pages other than talk pages that it's linked to. Don't know what else can be done on that. I think it's a good redirect, but I just wish the actual link to the page was used... What do you propose could be done? Just leave what's left alone? or notify on user talk, etc.? or ? Kaisha 02:31, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- I dunno; I'd ask Silver Edge's opinion.
- As wiki issues go, it's not exactly harmful. It's a bit like PvP → Player vs Player; the article is the longer version, but it's easier to use PvP. Slavers' vs Slaver's is so common... it might not be worth the trouble. Then again, cleanliness is next to wikiliness... — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 02:52, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi
Please don't interrupt my afk-vanquishing with ragemail unless it's going to somewhat resemble reality. Thanks! -- Armond Warblade 02:08, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
By the way, you hereby have my permission to post the contents of that email anywhere on the wiki should you so choose (since, unlike the impression you seem to be under, it's ok to post emails to the wiki if and only if both parties agree to the posting). -- Armond Warblade 02:09, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm? I don't send ragemail to you. Now, unless you have something wiki related to post. I will remove this in a matter of days (at least over a week) and put it in my spam section. :-) After all, you do know my email is better suited for this nonsense. Also, it's not okay to post emails even if it's okay by both parties. That's outside sources and only causes drama. Seriously, Please email me this nonsense next time. :-) Kaisha 02:13, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Login troubles
I think this might work:
- Change your GWW password on Ariyen and tell your browser not to remember it.
- Remove the browser history for GWW (so that it forgets about Ariyen).
You will still be able to logon to Ariyen when you need, but every time you use four tildes, you will be a lot more likely to show up as Kaisha instead.
If that's too much trouble, you can also change the appearance for the two accounts, so that it's easier for you to notice to which account you are logged on. For example, you can use Monobook for Kaisha and Vector for Ariyen. Or, if you prefer, you can change the CSS: both accounts could use Monobook, but one could have a green background and the other a blue one. (Of course, this assumes that you haven't found a way to resolve the email/links issue, which, of course, would be better still.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:57, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Well, Only reason I'd use Ariyen is to send emails like well Just sent one to someone about st and an image of me on guildwiki as borg. ^.^ And ya know other non wiki related items or questions that I feel were more "personal" that were like 1 on 1 that don't need to be on the wiki. I Just gotta remind myself to make SURE that i'm signed out as Ariyen, when I get done. Though I just wish the email was fixed for this one and I wouldn't even use that other one. Just as on Stephane's page... Apparently, it's not going to happen... *sigh*. :-( Kaisha 19:09, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, that makes sense. Try changing the preferences (and/or colors); I use that to quickly tell the difference between GWW and GWiki. Any time I keep saying to myself, gotta remind myself to make SURE... I try to do something that visually reminds me (of course, my memory isn't what it used to be). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:20, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- I change preference (Which I just did yet again) and I get bad input. It's on their end, due to some things they have blocked apparently. Cause I do want this one to be more different, but when I can't do anything with preferences... Kinda is a rut... :-S :-( Kaisha 19:28, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

- Okay, but you can change your css without changing prefs. That works well for me...and mebbe you can use it as temporary work-around. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:46, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Just a heads-up, I asked about the error again, and apparently they are working on it. poke | talk 19:51, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you, Poke. @ TEF, I'll try that. I'm not that knowledgable in css, but I'll try. I'd like to learn more about it. ^.^ One thing was suppose to learn at a school I went to, but never did. >.< Teacher just basically had us learning on our own... Taught maybe 3 times the entire 2 1/2 years I went. Yea, money wasted. However, I did get to crash all the operating systems there. ^.^ Novell, Linux, Mac, etc. the ones that aren't suppose to "crash". hehe. Kaisha 19:55, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

- You can copy my css to yours and alter it for hers. (You have to be logged on to do this...and it's case sensitive.) Based on your user pages, I'm sure you can come up with some that looks nicer than what I have done. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:53, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Glad you got it implemented and I hope that ends up helping, at least until the issue is resolved. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:54, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Wintersday Cheer → A Good Deed.
Thanks for the emails re: the rename (rather than replacement) of Wintersday Cheer to A Good Deed.. (I think) I have made the relevant updates. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:53, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi
Never email me again. It's harassment, and you're currently banned for it. -- Armond Warblade 13:41, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- As the user is currently incapable of sending mail through the wiki, I assume you are referring to direct e-mails. This is not a wiki issue, and so should be kept off the wiki. If you feel you're being harassed by e-mail, take it up with her e-mail provider. - Tanetris 18:33, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- Apologies; I did not realize at first that they were direct emails. -- Armond Warblade 18:47, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- As Kaisha is currently unable to respond here, and as harassment is a fairly broad term, I'd like to clarify what the issue actually was, in case someone looks at this later and gets the wrong impression. I've looked into this a bit and have a pretty good idea what happened. If you feel this issue doesn't belong on the wiki, maybe the whole section ought to be removed.
- The complaint above was prompted by a single email that Kaisha sent Armond - I've seen it, it contains some upset text regarding a wiki issue; the language isn't exactly polite, but it doesn't seem much worse than what many editors get away with on this wiki on a regular basis. There are no threats, no references to Armond's life outside the wiki, nothing like that. It was also the first email that Kaisha sent him this month, although there's a history (see the other #Hi section above).
- This email was no cause to be upset or distressed about, and in fact Armond wasn't. I can see how he found it annoying. In his position, I'd simply have asked Ariyen to not send any more emails because I wouldn't be reading them any more, and then ignored any further communications.
- His harassment complaint caused Kaisha to send 3 more emails to Armond, because she was rather a bit upset about that; the last one was a rather short reply to an email of his, and it's probably safe to say that the both of them won't be sending each other emails any more. If you have questions, please take them to email or my talkpage.
- Move along, nothing to see here. --mendel 19:48, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
armor costs
that's how it's done on every armor page afaik... helm prices are enver included because a lot of people don't get them since they're not needed for hom and/or they don't want to replace one ugly headpiece with another, so they use the old one with the same stats and set it to alwyas hide. 24.130.140.36 18:59, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
wait, I was confused. I guess the vabbian crest doesn't cost gems for some reason. but putting the cost of the headpiece into the table makes it wrap badly, so the note is neater. 24.130.140.36 19:25, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- Cost in headpiece is easier to find than a note at the bottom. all armor cost pieces and materials should be in the boxes. But I'm doing this in sandbox as well. Gonna redo it again, cause I've think I've got an idea how to fix it. If it works in the sandbox. Will do it on the page. Make things correct and consistent and practical. 72.148.31.114 20:08, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- please double check your tables in lower resolutions while you're a it, most people run 1024x876 or something 24.130.140.36 20:14, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- That better? If you're willing to help. I'd be glad to accept help with the sandbox. Oh, I have to run that resolution on my desktop screen. So, I usually double check there and correct things as well. 72.148.31.114 20:46, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- I took a quick look, it doesnt look bad, but maybe you could right-align the contents of the tables? cause sometimes the icons for the mats don't like up and it doesn't look bad I guess but it looks better when they do 24.130.140.36 18:06, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- That's what I'm doing here. Doing it to all of them, then get consensus to transfer all of that to actual pages. I think it looks better right aligned on most. Working on Assassin now, then Mesmer, then Elemental. Finished what I could of the rest of them. I'll be rechecking using my desktop, once I finish them all. So far, I think the ones in green are go, but I'm not perfect. :-) 72.148.31.114 18:30, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- I like that, but the shard picture is smaller than the others. can't figure out why, unless it's something with the picture or template you're using, if it's the template I don't want to be the one to change it and crash the wiki 24.130.140.36 18:52, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- I took a look, i guess most of the mats templates show the icon at 19px and some show them at odd values, iron is 18px shard is 15px etc, maybe you should see if that can be fixexc too 24.130.140.36 18:54, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Most everything is 19px, I'd like to see them all be the same px, but I feel that the icons themselves may be out of sync (different sizes). If that's the case, no matter what px they are or become, the actual sizes is what'd throw all of that off. I think if we can have the mats be the same size. It'd help with the templates and the tables. Also, correcting the templates to one size. 72.148.31.114 19:08, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Second thought, I think I figured out the problem. the images themselves look off... Because Proton changed each image to the same size. It looks like many are smaller than original... Gives off rather an awful downsize, making them look smaller. Guess we'd need consensus to revert him, so all images look better at their own size. Also, making sure the templates are 19px. As if now, The shards, bolts of cloth, etc. look horrible. I don't know where or what public page to note this on... It is absolutely horrible. No doubt he had same/similar plan, but Imo. looks like a backfire. I dunno what to do on that. 72.148.31.114 19:13, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- imo this looks fine 24.130.140.36 19:14, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- and if proton is right and 52x64 is how it shows up in your inven, maybe we should keep it like that, we're suppoesd to doccument the game,e ven the ugly parts 24.130.140.36 19:17, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Some images were cut, some looks too small from the sizes they were. Others may need to be adjusted via the templates. The obisidan was bigger in it's original image, hence the 15px. 72.148.31.114 19:29, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
