Hello, LunarEffect, and welcome to the Official Guild Wars Wiki! If you need help with anything, please feel free to add a message to my talk page. I highly recommend that you check out the "Welcome to the wiki" page - it's extremely useful as an initial guide. Best of luck and happy editing! --§ Eloc § 20:18, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
English, or German?[edit]
Is your Native langage English or German? The definition of Native is the one you grew up knowing and was the first one that was taught to you. Anything else would be lvl4 at best which would be near native.--§ Eloc § 22:34, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps they grew up learning both languages? Then they would have two native languages. :) Drago 22:36, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- At a native level of, not native language. Calor - talk 22:39, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Drago, I could see people growing up around 2 different languages. I have a friend in Mexico who learned English on his frequent trips to Texas to visit his Uncle, but Native speakers would be what people are constantly speaking in the environment around you, such as your first choice if you were to speak to someone in a store or something.--§ Eloc § 22:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- Also, see w:Native language & w:List of languages by number of native speakers.--§ Eloc § 23:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- At a native level of, not native language. Calor - talk 22:39, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
No disrespect, but I will not argue about definitions here. I can speak English just as well as I can speak German. I grew up bilingually and I really wouldn't be able to decide which one to name as my native tongue. Therefor, even if it isn't fine with you, I'd like to keep things just the way they are. From birth, my parents spoke to me in both languages , I'd find it insulting to be forced to decide. LunarEffect 00:55, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, np. There's no rule against choosing or something like that. I was only curious which you were best at because when I was
stealinglooking at some of your userboxes it just kinda confused me at first.--§ Eloc § 01:53, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

GWW:USER GWW:SIGN[edit]
In order for you to use 0xLunarEffect as your signature, you need to register User:0xLunarEffect, and redirect that logins user page and discussion to your userpage and discussion. — ク Eloc 貢 18:15, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- So you register a new account every time you change your signature? Because although your username is Eloc Jcg, your signature displays as Eloc. Please enlighten me =)...and a link to the appropriate rules section would be nice, too ^___^ LunarEffect 19:40, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Nice to see you on wiki too :) I really miss playing with you, and I think we should hook up ingame some time soon, though we do have to wait a while, since my pc crashed last week :( But, I will let you know ingame when I'm back on :D Love from Symphy 12:30, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Studium[edit]
what are you gonna study? tübingen or karlsruhe would be nice, i could come visit you xD - Y0_ich_halt 08:13, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Haha, yeah, that would be cool! I'm going to study IT, since I went to an IT Gymnasium as well. =) LunarEffect 11:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- afaik karlsruhe is correct then. we visited tübingen U two weeks ago with our class ("exkurs"). as much as we were told it's mostly for stuff like latin, greek, history etc. also, my brother studies infor informatics in karlsruhe ^^ - Y0_ich_halt 11:23, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Tübingen does have an IT faculty. I know Stuttgart and Karlsruhe are better for IT, but on a global scale I think Tübingen is more famous in general. I'm thinking of doing a language as a secondary course (probably Japanology if they let me) and I just can't do that in Stuttgart or Karlsruhe. Where do you live btw? =) LunarEffect 12:26, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Lauffen/N. just search on maps.google.de and scroll a bit south (40km to be exact) until you find stuttgart. japanology? i speak japanese a bit. had a course over some years, just enough to survive everyday situations xD - Y0_ich_halt 13:45, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- So desu ka? I could just get on a rubber boat in Tübingen and drift south until I'm in Lauffen...a few days later oo". I live in Waldenbuch, home of the famous "Ritter Sport" chocolate. I attended a Japanese course as well a few years back and ever since I've really wanted to get into it more. I can just about do the basics as well, like asking for directions/the time/how much something is. You seem to have quite the talent for languages! - i feel disappointed, though. every class gets to visit Ritter Sport once; my older brothers, my younger brother, they've all been there and brought home loads of chocolate, and i'm the only one who never saw it yet! - Y0_ich_halt 14:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, no comprendo mucho latín, pero hablo un poco espanol. I don't really get the attraction of the chocolate factory! People come from miiiles away to see it. I haven't actually been there since they renovated it. Perhaps I should go some day ^^ LunarEffect 07:14, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- how about i come visit you in four weeks or so (when we're back from vacation) and we go there together? xD - Y0_ich_halt 09:41, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, we could do that! I'll get some friends together who want to see it, too, to make the trip even more worthwhile ^^ Should be fun. LunarEffect 07:40, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
