Requesting feedback: User:Sharkinu/Sandbox#Serious PvE table (sandbox)
I'm still thinking for role an professions table, but if we dont want to care so much about builds(since most people are able to run the "popular builds" for their avaiable professions). We can use table 3 and merge both table.
If feedback will be positive I'm gonna make a template to simplify the way you can add a new row. Something like this: Royal Gift/Drop rate/line

- I like the alternative. Can we make the "builds" column into alt text for the check marks? — Raine Valen 15:19, 12 Nov 2010 (UTC)
- You mean like merging first two tables into one? Isn't that a little too wide? Also I wanted to keep the height as small as possible for each user's row in time table. Adding builds collumns will make the table also very long with a lot of white space. --Sharkinu 15:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- I mean using the third table, but having something like in the column. — Raine Valen 17:02, 12 Nov 2010 (UTC)

- It'd be cool if it displayed the profession images instead of the check. When you're on the 839423423th row of people and can't see the headings and the descriptions are all "almost anything", it's a little annoying. -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 05:15, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- The headers are in order by proper party order based on traditional roles (frontline by armor, midline by armor, and backline by armor): W, D, A, P, R, E, Me, N, Rt, Mo. Though the "Me" and "N" are interchangeable. — Raine Valen 22:08, 20 Nov 2010 (UTC)

PvE dates[edit]
Should be decided like a week ahead, not a day before the event... - J.P.Talk 15:51, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- +1. Also, there was someone who had 400hp in our group, that guy seriously needs to boost up. InfestedHydralisk 16:36, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- 377 with 11% dp actually. Take another guess who! ^^
- I only had one superior rune (which was kinda useless in the build i used anyway :S). And i sacrificed health runes and insignias for energy ones :P - J.P.Talk 16:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oh that was you. :P Energy Management > alot of Energy. :P InfestedHydralisk 16:46, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- I had Energy Storage at 16 XD
- It's because of another build i've used and didn't bother to change it, which i think now i should have :P
- I have only one armor set on my main. I just didn't bother to get another one :S - J.P.Talk 16:54, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, now it's more like 571-611, depending on the weapons ^^ - J.P.Talk 17:21, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- That is acceptable, but why the major? -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 21:53, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Eles should have Blessed Insignias 90% of the time; the other 10% should be Prismatic (on, say, a Fire ele with Grasping and Ward Foes). Just like it's better to have energy management than high energy, it's better to have health management than high health. — Raine Valen 21:57, 20 Nov 2010 (UTC)

Suggesting Date[edit]
This coming Wednesday, the day before (American) Thanksgiving. I should be available all day, but some of my fellow Americans might be traveling. --Riddle 17:29, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

UW thoughts.[edit]
Thinking about the last UW run I revisited my UW balance suggestion page. I found that my mountains idea was far too deadly for players, (healer for every behemoth group!) and I had to change a dhuum skill and the four horsemen change suggestion for the sake of clarity. Otherwise I still think it would be a lot better for UW if it was implemented, regardless of the time passed. your thoughts? --Boro 17:21, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- We did pretty good at the Four Horsemen last night. We killed one side, killed almost all the Dryders on the other. But then the Skeleton's came in and fucked us up. InfestedHydralisk 18:37, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Seed of Life. Seriously. It's a godsend versus Flurry of Splinters or whatever. -- Oiseau | 02:48, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think we actually had that skill... :S - J.P.Talk 12:05, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- I got through 4H one with a terrible PUG team, as the monk, just by spamming Seed and Cure Hex as the HB/UA mimic while the UA did NOTHING other than spam Heal Party and res. We did have a Defy tank and a perma though, so... :/ -- Oiseau | 16:22, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- "We did have a Defy tank and a perma"

- Alternatively, blow everything up with critscythes. -- Armond Warblade{{Bacon}} 18:09, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

- I think you missed the point a little bit. -- Oiseau | 22:37, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Permaform > "terrible" . — Raine Valen 23:25, 26 Nov 2010 (UTC)
- If you're not leading, you really can't escape this in a PUG. If you want to slow clear, you're still going to draw individual gimmicks, unless of course, it's a team under your level of organization. -- Oiseau | 23:47, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Gogo sign up for a job! If you HB, I'll LS with you! Or we can war together! — Raine Valen 0:18, 27 Nov 2010 (UTC)
- I have a friend (the owner of my second account) who could play the Adrenaline Generator Necro and save us the time of divvying the job out to someone reluctant to take it, if you'd like to take him up on it. -- Oiseau | 01:16, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

So, what's this then?[edit]
So, what's the actual point of this? Is this actually a serious attempt at finishing UW, or is this a "we don't wanna use cons and non-meta build" kinda thign that seemingly leaves people slamming their faces into their desktops? ~~000.00.00.00~~ 23:53, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Probably just finish it more skillful. InfestedHydralisk 23:54, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- This is a place where collaboration can happen. Whoever posts an opening is in charge of how that run will be carried out: if I'm hosting, there's not going to be a dedicated tank because that sucks the fun out of everything. Accordingly, anyone who does a run with me is going to have a harder time winning UW than someone who plays a tank&spank conway. If someone else wants to host a tank&spank, though, that's totally their prerogative. — Raine Valen 0:04, 27 Nov 2010 (UTC)
Yesterday[edit]
Im sorry I wasn't online yesterday to monk in UW. Without I knew it before, my grandparents were at my place and my parents decided to have a diner in town. I couldn't make it in time. -- Cyan 14:50, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- Dont worry, you really didnt miss much (unless you like Rock paper scissors, if so, you missed alot.)--Neil • 15:19, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
So.....[edit]
are you still doing it? 82.95.65.117 16:20, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes. If you want an event date, go ahead and make one. — Raine Valen 19:11, 20 Jan 2011 (UTC)
I feel like we didn't give this a good run.[edit]
And though I think we should try again, the 2 builds we have to do so are unfortunately out of date, due to the Dervish update. Though there were a few attempts, I feel they floundered early - too early, in some cases - and I do not think that there is any excuse for it. I not think there are many exceptions when I say that most of us are long-time GW veterans, and can certainly out-do this:
Shame on anyone who points out the cons. They're wammos, ffs. -- Oiseau | 23:30, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm down. I ordered my new power cord, so I'll be able to GW again sometime this week. I, we can has theorykraft tiem nao? — Raine Valen 0:07, 5 Apr 2011 (UTC)
- There is plenty to draw from! :> -- Oiseau | 00:41, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
