hay wtf
Why'd you delete me everyone(?) off xfire? :/ Vael Victus 14:10, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Read my Xfire blog entry? I have a new account and instructed everyone to add me over there. --Regina Buenaobra 20:02, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have been meaning to ask this for a while, what is your x-fire name? --Wolf 22:13, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- brin5t4r, got it. I forgot xfire even made blogs. oo; Vael Victus 22:56, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Speaking of Xfire... would it be possible to implement some Xfire features? Like other people being able to see what map you're on, or even a place on the website to show off your character like WoW? Would be sweeet ^^ — Poki#3 02:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- Xfire must love to have new games to support, but there may be other issues... It could be nice, anyways. MithTalk 13:34, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- You can actually inject (?) a .dll that Xfire has made for the purpose of allowing more information, into your game. Why, when the head (?) of Xfire likes GW so much, and now an ex-admin of Xfire working for GW still hasn't suggested support for it is beyond me. Vael Victus 14:47, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

- There aren't any plans to implement any of those features at the moment. It's probably technically possible, but the team is devoting their energies on other issues right now. It's not realy as simple as our personal preferences of what games we like, in the case of the VP of Engineering at Xfire, or what messaging client I choose to use, in my case.
- Trib: Sorry about that. I thought that people would check my Xfire profile and see the new account listed and just add me there. I did pro-actively add people back to the new account though. --Regina Buenaobra 02:08, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Fansite Inbox
Dear Regina, so sorry to bother you. I know you have enough on your mind already, but could you or someone else check the fansite inbox? I'm not getting a reply again ^_^ Sorry to bother you HeavenMonkey 14:51, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oops, I see your at PAX. Sorry :) HeavenMonkey 10:36, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- I got your email. Responded today. --Regina Buenaobra 18:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Scotland?
I read in a interview on Guild Wars Guru about you doing a course in Scotland and I wondered how you enjoyed being in Scotland? --Empressdonna 19:28, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- I can't talk for Regina but IMHO Scotland is FAB! I've lived here for 6 years now (after living in Derry, Manchester, Brussels and Paris) and I LOVE it! Don't think I'll ever leave Edinburgh/Glasgow, to live anywhere else. -- Salome 04:00, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- It was hard to get used to the new environment in my first year of uni, but after that, I loved it. I lived there for five years. I haven't been back there in about six years though. :-( --Regina Buenaobra 02:02, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oh aye,which uni did you attend? -- Salome 02:24, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- Nice, glad you loved it over here ^_^ --Stu 06:27, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- St Andrews. =) --Regina Buenaobra 19:41, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

- GOLF???? --Silverleaf 07:43, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't play golf. In my final year, I figured that I should at least try to play golf once, since St Andrews is the "Home of Golf". I inquired at the Old Course about beginner golf classes, but found they were full up. I didn't bother to try again, because honestly golf doesn't interest me very much. I enjoyed walking by the sea, near the R&A and the Old Course, though. Very pretty. ^_^ --Regina Buenaobra 19:10, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- St Andrews is beautiful, been there a fair few times. The beach is lovely. -- Salome 02:35, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- You guy's make me wan't to travel there...long time wish...since i do play golf...and love the sea. --Silverleaf 09:11, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Golf is fun if you don't take it too seriously. I have a set of Golf Clubs around here somewhere (got given them, don't remember why or when). Used to go down to Balloch Park with a mate and randomly play Golf.....was fun although got boring quick --Stu 07:23, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Tere's probably only one place better for the sea, maybe not golf, and that's my home the Great sunburnt land, Australia. Course that doesn't explain why I'm living in Southampton now does it... ^^; --BeeD 11:27, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
After All is Said and Done...
...PAX and the Game Works party where both a blast, and I had fun playing your game. I'd also like ot say thanks for answering a question or two of mine no matter how rediculous they seem or desite probably being asked them numerous times. I think you have now dispeled every myth about the lack of GW2 info that comes to my mind, and I can now set everyone strait adn help them see the true picture of things. Also, thanks for signing my GW art book. It may seem a little rediculous, but for me (and maybe others) it served as a good item for collecting signatures, as I figured I would not be holding on to the card after we collected enough signatures. I do have one more question for you, I'm having trouble remembering who it was I was talking to sunday around 2:30-3:00, right after I asked you about Aion affecting GW2 and such, and we carried on to talk about favorite armor and such and survivor blunders and all that. Think you could refresh my memory? Thanks again! --Wolf 06:31, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I hope you enjoyed talking to the development team. The only reason I kind of questioned why people were asking me to sign their art books was because I didn't work on Guild Wars Prophecies. :-) But hey, if they want me to sign their book, I'm not going to argue -- it's their book, after all. I'm not sure I remember. Could you describe them for me? --Regina Buenaobra 19:41, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it was Joe Kimmes, the GW1 Live Team AI lead (pretty sure thats his correct title). Kinda short, long-ish very curly brown hair, glasses. It's always a very fin and interesting expireience talking with game devs. Getting a little inside perspective helped me understand a lot more things. — Wolf 20:43, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Ever see these GW parodies before, Regina?
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bHZZ0fklDO0 Amazing how people can make these guild wars parodies using creativity, /*emotion*, texmod and programs that make voices. There are multiple people on Youtube who do videos like this. Regina, what is your opinions on these wonderful works of fan-videos?
I really do think videos like these are true to GW culture. Such as Balthazar wanting people to kill monsters just for the sake of killing a monster because it makes him laugh.
You should check it out if you ever have free time ;)
edit: Forgot to sign my name X_X

Heh that was quite amusing...up until after he killed the monster...kinda drifted off after that. Oh btw, what the hell was that German speaking tribal dude yabbering on about? Brimstone 09:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Video is funny. The voices sound like the guy from Ventrilo. xD --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Phill Gaston (talk).
Misleading advert
I saw this on a facebook advert - the advert was advertising an MMO which had "guild wars" in the name but accualy links to http://pdo.enjoymmo.com/ - a free MMO. I'm just annoyed because someone may have been told about GW and think this is it.
--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Randomtime (talk).
if thats the cause, then you can put away half of all advertisments and half of all MMO's since they all future "Guild Wars" it kinda means the same, only thing is that in that game it is meant as a game-element and not as a game name..Dutch Sunshine 20:38, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sure they appreciate having this link/advert posted here for them also. -- Inspired to ____ 20:44, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- Note that it's "guild wars" and not "Guild Wars." There's a difference; one is a generic term, and the other is a proper noun. Kokuou 00:31, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

- LOL, i saw that bit too. Most peculiar! -- Salome 01:58, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

private
is there an email that i can directly contact you? I have several questions for you regarding the Guild Warsverse that I personally think it's too private (at least for me) to discuss with you? i swear i will not bog you down with any personal questions but something your legal department as well as homages are concerned. 125.60.243.54 21:06, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
