- i think his point is right now because of the problems with the legal stuff and suggestions that page should be changed to reflect that for the time being.75.165.119.187 19:44, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Their policy hasn't changed... it's always been that way, what we are trying to do is make it so it isn't. -- Wyn 19:47, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Archiving
You usually only do this to topics that are not active, not ones you want to hide from the public or the ones you answer. Maybe people want to see your answers before a topic is archived. ~Shard 02:52, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- I archive topics that have been answered sufficiently, to which I have nothing further to add, are considered off-topic, or that have not followed the guidelines outlined above. --Regina Buenaobra 02:55, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- I know this isn't a satisfactory answer, but there are no plans to remove the skill. --Regina Buenaobra 02:44, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- No, there aren't. Thanks for your suggestion (though suggestions really shouldn't be going on this page). Thanks. --Regina Buenaobra 03:01, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- This is one of those "nice to have" features that, if given enough resources and time, would be "nice to have". All I can really say is you never know what could happen in the future. --Regina Buenaobra 02:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- sufficient answers? i hope thats why these arent archived yet. --adrin 13:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sad that you ignored me, too, Regina. When I was talking about how much we used to talk, until I told you I wasn't going to college and you mysteriously got cold to me. :| Vael Victus 21:11, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Licensing update
Hi,
Maybe i'm not posting this to the proper talk page but this really need Anet staff attention (and maybe Guild Wars Wiki administrators attention).
I'm here after Angela Beesley of Wikia suggested me to get in touch with all of you guys about an important matter of wich you might not have heard of. Or maybe you already have.
The thing is, later this year, Wikipedia and most bigs GFDL wikis will update their license to CC-BY-SA as it is permitted by the GFDL 3.
You can have details about this matter on this page on meta.
Guild Wars Wiki does not have to switch. But if the comunity could have some talk about this, maybe the community could see some benefits in switching to CC-BY-SA (wich permit commercial use).
Why does it matter to me ? Because two years ago i started a french GW wiki on Wikia and the only wiki we are able to translate to french is the Official wiki. If fr.guildwars.wikia.com would switch to CC-BY-SA we would lost the ability to translate content from Guild Wars Wiki. And the switch wont give us the possibility to translate content from GuildWiki so we wont have any source of information anymore.
So, the small community of fr.guildwars.wikia.com need to know if they can switch or if they're better to stay under GFDL. Otherwise said, we need to know if Guild Wars Wiki will switch or not.
Ok, feel free to ask any question and even to contact me more directly, using my own talk or even an email. All users are free to comment. If this discussion need to be moved, please, leave a link to it's new location on my talk.
Thanks to all. TulipVorlax 02:14, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

- Hi Tulip, fortuitous timing, we are actually discussing changes to GFDL for this Wiki right now, you can find the discussion here. As I understand it, current proposal is for language that only allows certain content for commercial use (i.e., suggestions, feedback, etc.) while the rest will continue more or less as it currently stands, but you should be able to see the new proposed wording for yourself on the aforementioned page. (Satanael 06:09, 13 April 2009 (UTC))
- That discussion was interesting. Too bad they can't accept suggestions from the wiki. But it's not really awnsering me. Or, if it is, that mean this wiki is staying in GFDL. So, the french wiki on Wikia will have to do the same.
- There's still time until it's too late. I'll keep an eye on this... TulipVorlax 07:00, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

What types of feedback are and are not currently acceptable
I've raised the question of which types of feedback are and are not currently acceptable at User talk:Mike O'Brien#Handling feedback until everything's sorted out. An official response would be appreciated. I'm cross-posting this to Gaile and Linsey's talk pages. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 06:09, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
