Guild Image: AG cape.jpg[edit]

The image you recently uploaded (Image:AG cape.JPG) does not comply with the Guild Wars Wiki image naming policy and has been tagged for deletion. Please feel free to re-upload the image under a correct name. Thanks, Aiiane-a.gif (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 14:50, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Soltari, simply adding a {{guild image}} tag won't bring it up to standard, it needs to be uploaded under a few filename (one that begins with Guild and includes the full name of the guild it is for). Aiiane-a.gif (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 15:08, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Heya, k ty Aiiane, I changed it. I hope it's OK now...? I'm just new into the wiki codes and stuff, so sorry if i don't do it properly right. Soltari

Template:Guildmembers nav[edit]

Hi, I have removed all your member links from your template. You need to first understand a few things. The part of the name before the colon, like "Guild:", and "User:" are what is called a namespace. Namespaces have to created by the site administrators, simply writing "Member:" does not create a namespace, and we don't allow a namespace called "Member:". If you want to create a little navigation bar for your guild, I suggest you link them manually or don't link them at all. Users are different from characters. Users must be registered and they will be given a user-specific user space (such as "User:Soltari"). Character pages can only exist within a user space, and not in the main namespace. So if you absolutely must link your officers, then you must link them to either users or character pages within their user's namespace. Reply here if you need some more clarifications on what I mean. Thanks. -- ab.er.rant sig 03:06, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

heya, okay I understand. Thanks Soltari Force 11:33, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm new to the wiki thing, so I was just trying, sorry for that.Soltari Force 11:34, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

No problems at all. Let me know if you need help. Or you ask those who are helpers or at Help:Ask a wiki question. Have fun :) -- ab.er.rant sig 11:38, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

kk ty. I got 1 question atm :p. How come that our guild ( Guild:Aruthas Gatekeepers ) isn't in any guild list anymore? It was in it before. Is there any reason for it? greetings Soltari Force 11:40, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

What do you mean by "guild list"? Are you referring to something in the wiki or on the official website? -- ab.er.rant sig 11:50, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm referring to the official wiki guild list. Soltari Force 11:52, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

We don't have an official wiki guild list.... at least, none that I know of. Are you referring to Category:Guilds? The category thing is just an organisational feature provided by the wiki software. If you go to your guild page, Guild:Aruthas Gatekeepers, and look at the bottom of it, you'll see all the categories that your guild is in. If you edit your guild page, the categories at the bottom determine which categories your guild page will go into. -- ab.er.rant sig 11:56, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

yes I know and I did that. If you look on our guild page u see our categories, but in the categorie:guilds. I can,t find our guild anymore. It was in the list before. greetings Soltari Force 12:03, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

hmm I maybe found it. Our guild is in the Inactive guild stub now. I am just back from vacation so didn't updated it. But we are still active. Soltari Force 12:05, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Ah! I understand you now. Let me try to explain. Your guild page was marked inactive. To remove the inactive mark, just replace the whole of the {{inactive guild}} tag with {{guild}} instead. The reason you don't see your guild in the categories anymore is just because of sorting. The {{guild}} tag had the correct sorting, so your guild ended up in A. But the {{inactive guild}} template had a little bug, which ended up sorting your guild under G. I'll go and fix it. And you should go and replace the tag. -- ab.er.rant sig 01:18, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

ty for helping me out, it's all fixed now. greetings Soltari Force 05:52, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

User:Soltari Force[edit]

Hey there, could I enquire as to why you're setting up a redirect from User:Soltari Force to User:Soltari? :) --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ Talk 18:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Ah, I think you want to link your name on your guild page to your user page? If so, just put the code [[User:Soltari|Soltari Force]], and that will show up as Soltari Force, but still link to your userpage. --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ Talk 19:03, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Elby!!! :D, how are you doing :). It's Soltari here form AG (former alliance with FCNL). How are you doing? And how is it with ur guild since the crap u had? About the redirect, sorry, was testing something.Soltari Force 19:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

yea idd but already found it outSoltari Force 19:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I thought I recognised your name lol (and duh for not realising your guild page name). I'm good thanks, CoE is being led by Mercy now, I've sort of half-given up on Guild Wars. Although, I edit this wiki still and go online once in a while. How's AG? Oh, and no problem about the redirect, I'll sort it out. --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ Talk 19:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

hehe no prob. We are going to restart/reorganize the guild a bit. The reason is some inactivity and peopel who kinda gave up gw. Besides the officers we have 1 active member (all other members are offline for more then 1 month now *kicks*) So hope we can recruit nice players. Too bad u gave up gw a littleSoltari Force 19:09, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Well good luck with your guild, and say hi to the Abbott if he still plays :P --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ Talk 19:11, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

hehe he is, so I will say Hi, but his internet is maybe down very soon for 2 moths :( Soltari Force 19:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
