this would be kinda exploit prone, because it causes degeneration without the target actually knowing why they are losing health. It also seems a bit weak compared to Life Siphon, which has much longer duration and only 1 less pip of degen/regen at 15 of either attribute. Also, Life Siphon can be used on much more enemies to create constant regeneration (it can easily be maintained on 3 foes for +3pips of regen) while this is an enchantment so even if you cast it on another foe, it would not stack with your old cast, removing the effect from the previous foe prematurely. The long recharge also means it is weaker, because that means if a ranger interrupts the 2sec cast spell (quite easy) then you cannot use this for quite a bit of time.

Finally, I cant really find a purpose for this skill. Life Siphon can be spammed to provide partywide pressure damage on foes (albeit quite insignificant) and also heal the caster pretty well if maintained on several foes (which fits in with the prior purpose). However, this skill lacks the regeneration or ability to be stacked to be effective as a self heal (heals 90 over 15 secs at 12 while healing breeze easily heals 240 over the same duration). The fact it cannot be stacked and its long recharge also means it fails to deal much damage (the fact it is equal to bleeding is pretty pathetic considering all the utility bleeding provides to the much smaller utility of this skill).

I have to admit it is a rather intriguing and original skill, but it really deserves a buff.Crimmastermind 04:51, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

And here I was thinking invisible degen is OP. I did want the recharge to be far shorter than the duration but I guess I didn't realise how long 10 seconds really was. To 5 and 6! -- Spawn User Spawnlegacy sig.pngLegacy 12:30, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
