GW2 suggestion notes[edit]

Your karma system idea is nice but i fear it would make GW2 too much like all other mmos. The uniqueness of GW is that it has a storyline which the whole campaign is based on,
unlike other mmos where you don't have to follow the storyline to play the game (atleast i hope they won't change it in GW2) so the idea of being able to choose a side (evil or good) is good, but only if it somehow follows the storyline. --Soulforged 08:48, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
I beilve alternate paths in the storyline imagine what it would've been like to slay Togo yourself and join Shiro granting you a new skill like "Form of Shiroken", or allowing Abbadon to corrupt you and slaying Kormir...though that would've changed the game world...but wait theres multiple worlds in GW2? so there's an idea. good point, though a simple Karma world system could help...have one uinversal world all karma classes can visit, follow normal story, and karma worlds Negative and positive, people who prgress with negative will be directed to this world where the story has darker options and the sam efor positive characters in positive worlds. I wouldn't count on Arenanet taking the time to put this in, especially the idea of a negative world and a positive world. Just to much work for something that doesn't fit into GW's game style. One thing that people forget is that there's very little in GW that is permanent. You can change your secondary class, your build and skill set (most mmo's use a skill tree) you allegiance (Lux or Kurz), and now even your characters appearance. Its the nature of Guild Wars, and if GW2 didn't have that, it wouldn't be Guild Wars any more.--Will Greyhawk 19:30, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
I know that I just needed a way that they could handle it..basicly I think a title track, quests that can only be done with certain Karma and Armor that can be bought with certain Karma...and Story wise the you could have the standard hencmen and extra ones if you evil or good, also dolouge you recive from NPCs may change...and if it's possible alternate cutscenes, not much point towards extra worlds Zachariah Zuan. talk 14:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
