Guild Hall Stuff

I think it would be nice to have wandering NPCs in guild halls, customizable furniture and furnishings, events that would occur as specific emotes are called by guild members (e.g. dance parties, greetings, roars upon victories, etc.).

Guild Hall Editor

I think it would be great to be able to edit your guild hall with tools such as.

Trees Water Buildings Cliffs Textures Colours

And More all by tools at the top.It would also be great if the canthan ambassador's panel looked like this.

Originals|Saved Halls|Editor|

So you could get original halls, saved halls by ppl and the editor.

I dunno if we want to go there, you'd see a ton of really crappy guild halls in development and everyone will just flock to the best looking ones. Then if anyone wants to join they'd have to download the hall to get access to it. (Terra Xin 10:50, 17 June 2008 (UTC))
This should atleast be tried in the beta. Also to prevent unfairness on one side of the guild hall in GvG two options can be implemented.
1. Double "Mirror" creation - Let's say Guild1 is on the Left and Guild2 is on the Right in a GvG round for this custom guild hall. When you edit the Left side, the right side mirrors the left and visa versa. In the middle should be where the flag stand always is, and is divided into 2 parts Top (above stand) and Bottom (below stand). In this middle area the Top and Bottom always mirror eachother. So the mirror grid will look something like this: (R=right, L=left, T=top, B=bottom, F=flag stand)
It would be a good idea
L T R
L F R
L B R
Also, when using this method, to have the hall usable for GvG, have the maker have all skills disabled (prevents shadow jumping) and walk from Guild Lord 1 to Guild Lord 2 to make sure there is atleast one usable path, or instead of GvG limit this to scrimmages.
2. Build the guild hall for your guild, but have a pre-made guild hall selected for GvG. For scrimmages have the option to host a scrimmage for either custom GH or for GvG Guild hall. (This does NOT mean you get to have 2 guild halls, it just means you have another hall that will load for GvG.)
I would personally implimit both options so that GvG is fair but when we hang out in a guild hall it doesn't have to be the same monotonous halls every time. Also let officers edit and save guild hall changes, but seperate in a "suggestions" folder for the guild leader to look at and either accept or reject. Elven Chaos 20:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
I added "Will not have to see same old guild halls over and over again" to why this is a good idea. --Elven Chaos 17:33, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Would love to add some more trees to my guild hall..and making them more personal is a nice suggestion. But then i go crazy about Guilds made up from all the guild members houses and an Guild Tavern to get together. --Silverleaf User_talk:Silverleaf 08:06, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Peraps in the "lobby" part of the guild hall be aple to designate locations for any NPC's you start out with, and any to come. This could also be applied to the guild houses and guild tavern suggestions if, and hopefully so, implemented. --Elven Chaos 04:29, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, To avoid all programming and balance confusions/hassles I would think if we could just edit/create our own guild hall lobby the most of us would be happy. --Elven Chaos 18:24, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
It would be a good idea, however, howabout anet sais, make 1 half of your map, and then we will mirror the other side? Then you could add special other items like scenery later? Dav 16:36, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
