• It is possible to mod this kind of axe with a Barbed Axe Haft upgrade, giving it the name "Barbed Barbed Axe".

Trivia

• This axe resembles a tribal African throwing weapon commonly known as a 'hunga-munga'. The odd configuration of blades and points was meant to ensure that it would cause damage whichever side collided with its target. There are many different designs of Hunga-munga, and several different names for the weapon itself, varying from tribe to tribe; shongo, kpinga, and sapa are some of the different names by which this weapon is called.
