Feedback:User/Fanmad/Merchenary System for GW2

Adding a Mercenary System in GW2 will make the solo play more enjoyable.

On your way to level 80, your character will unlock mercenary slots every 20 levels. So in the end, a character will have 4 Mercenaries. These mercenaries will be customizable: race, name, appearance, attributes, etc, just like a normal character's customization. The mercenaries are recruit-able from a Mercenary Officer NPC which first will ask you what race will that mercenary be and than continue to the customization screen.

NOTE:

The mercenary slots will be unlock-able only by level, so they won't be available all from the start for other characters in the account.

The mercenaries can be re-customized in all other aspects than race or name. To rename or change the race of your mercenaries, you need to delete them and make new ones.

The mercenaries will be account based and they will keep their attributes and gears for every character in account who will unlock them. When player will choose to change the mercenary profession, the mercenary will auto-exchange the gears and armors if they are also available for that profession.

Adding Mercenaries to your character's party will count in the scale up system.

Benefits

In this way, GW2 will keep the feeling of GW1 when players had their own heroes (and recently - mercenaries), and in the same time, players will not be forced to see 10 Kosses or 10 Tahlkoras running around.

When selected, the mercenaries will have an yellow aura, so it will be easier to see they are not real players.
