If this turned exhaustion into energy, air eles would be insanely broken. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 03:05, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

They wouldn't be terribly broken. I mean it is an elite.... It is kinda worthless at the moment and it should be changed. I agree. --~Danger~ 11:39, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Gale every 5 seconds with no drawback is broken. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 19:07, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Just needs to have it's recharge increased to like 15-20 seconds then it's fine. Damysticreaper 15:30, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
If it removes all exhaustion on cast, why does it matter what the recharge is, so long as an ele doesn't run out of energy from spamming exhausting skills between casts? Unless you meant increasing Gale's recharge..? — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 17:12, 1 Jun 2011 (UTC)
It can matter quite alot actually because a continuous spam of exhaustion will leave you with little max energy to cast the quite costly elementalist spells. But yeah it can fully restore an energy bar but i also agree to the fact that the elementalist really needs a skill to remove exhaustion or like glyph of energy prevents the effect of exhaustion. Well then the energy recovery is basicly a must have since it restores your energy bar from exhaustion so why not add a cap of energy gain by it to like 30 energy wich would equal 3 times exhaustion or remove like 2...24...30 point of exhaustion. Try finding a balanced function, you try it as well raine i would like to see if you could besides just complaining. Damysticreaper 17:25, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Let's say you have 70 max energy (which is low) and you're running a standard bsurge bar, but with bflash subbed for bsurge (because they're the same skill) and this subbed for glyph lesser (because this is a better skill). You can Gale someone six times before you don't have energy to cast any skill on your bar. Assuming all six gales get both HCT and HSR, you're looking at 15 seconds of straight-up gale spam before your energy starts to hurt. And then, boom, you use this and not only does your exhaustion go away, but all your energy comes back, too.
That means that, in order to prevent gale-locking people with this, the recharge would have to be at least 15 seconds (with 15 seconds doing nothing at all to prevent straight-up spam; 15 is just the point where it stops being "copious"). A 120-second recharge is a more realistic figure (six extra gales over the course of two minutes is an extra gale every 20 seconds; that's still more-than-doubling the potential casting rate).
An energy cap doesn't help: if it can only restore 30 energy per cast, you only cast it when you have 30 points of exhaustion. And then, bada-bing bada-boom, you're golden again and it recharges before you need it again.
tl;dr: it's a flawed concept. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 17:54, 1 Jun 2011 (UTC)
I think they're actually on to something, but yes it does need a drawback to using it.Right now though, getting energy back for points of exhaustion gained is kinda pointless. If you're already eaten up with exhaustion then you can gain energy all day and it won't change anything. I think it needs a function like "removes all exhaustion and restores 1 point of energy for each point of exhaustion removed. After 7 seconds you lose all energy" Or maybe the end functionality could even be "you regain 1 point of exhaustion for each point removed by this skill." Hmm more like "Your exhaustion skills are disabled for 20 seconds" so skills like Gale cannot be spammed. A health loss like Ether Prodigy may also be an option like 2 health loss per every point of exhaustion removed. I would prefer the first since health loss can be outhealed easily with Glyph of Restoration. Da Mystic Reaper 00:07, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
