The Guild Wars Gameplay manual, also called The Guild Wars Manuscripts are the directions to how to play the game and also give some insight on the history and lore of the specific continent.

The manuscript does not sometimes give all players all the information they need, so many players prefer to use the internet, (either fan sites or the offical Guild Wars website), to get more information. Some players also pay other people with money to help them with certain missions, quests or any other aspects of the game.
