The Angelic Guard [AG] was formed in August 2005 by a group of beta-testers of the original game. They grew the guild by looking for people who were fun, friendly, and good communicators; they encouraged good sportsmanship, active participation, and a lighthearted atmosphere on guild chat and the forum. These principles are still followed by the guild today. When Factions was released AG joined with two other guilds. Other guilds soon followed and AG found itself leading a very active alliance. However, politics and entropy caused that alliance to crumble as many do over time. AG joined the Scars Meadows [SMS] alliance for a time but now we lead our own alliance once again. Our goal is to maintain a strong alliance with mature, honorable, heroic, fun people who respect each other and enjoy the game together. We are not interested in politics or drama. AG exists as a place for people to simply enjoy the various aspects of the game without any pressure. The Angelic Guard is a place free from the ugliness that is pervasive in the real world, and all the members strive to uphold this principle.

AG is a PvE focused guild. We enjoy helping with difficult missions or quests or grouping for forays into the Underworld, Fissure of Woe, Domain of Anguish or other elite areas. Some of our members also get into farming or title hunting. We have members who have dabbled in PvP (RA/TA/AB/etc). The current hot-topic is title hunting. The Guild Leader Khomet Si Netjer reached the highest title of "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" several months back. Others are just having fun with the "Nicholas the Traveler" quests. You will find us doing everything from solo farming in the Underworld, helping people through missions, sightseeing in the Falls, doing dungeons Spartan Style (no casters!) or just having parties in our guildhall. Many of us are addicted to the "Legendary Survivor" Title and continue to pursue it with sometimes insane abandon. We periodically run through low-level missions "Nekkid." It is a challenge to run without armor to test your PvE skills. AG is also infamous for having "Nekkid" parties in various places such as Lions Arch and Shing Jea. We keep hoping for a "Nekkid" title.

Angelic Guard does not require any type of tithe such as faction, gold, or other donations at any time. It is simply a place to hang with Alliance and Guild Members in a friendly atmosphere.

The Angelic Guard is currently recruiting active players to share good times with. We are primarily PvE although we do RA/TA/AB/GvG/scrimmage at times. All experience levels are welcome, please contact us in game or through our alliance forum if you are interested in joining. Prospective members need to be interviewed by at least one officer or be recommended by a current guild member, but we have no requirements apart from having fun and being respectful of your fellow Guild and Alliance mates.

We are also looking for like-minded guilds to join with, if your guild is looking for new allies then we'd love to hear from you.
