Dye affects the blade of the axe. The blade will become lighter or darker and also receive a slight tint of the dye color specified. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

While sickles like the Japanese kamas have evolved for combat use, this kind of very curvy, crescent-shaped blade is normally used for cutting grain rather than people.
