Is this a common term?-- Brains12Talk 22:49, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

I've never heard it before, but then again, I don't PvP in any way. Either way it would need to be cleaned up. Calor (t) 22:51, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes actually. Other terms for this are, QQ-way, noobway or Izzy cant balance ~ SCobraUser-SuperCobra-Sig.png 22:52, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
and randomway? -- Harad 21:32, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it's a common term. If you see a gvg where everyone just runs around to gank and kill NPCs, that's a byob. Malice Moguls [Bank] (Hawk Smash [ZFQ]'s old guild...although ZFQ disbanded after the april monthly) were famous for this.
Actually, probably the first guild that I know of that started doing this, and broke top 100 with it, was Laptop Superheros [LS]. gladiator 23:08, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Did anyone noticed that this term sounds like "Bring Your Own Bombs" - a song from System of a Down

It's a popular term, not named after a song by a little-known band. Calor Talk 23:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Little known? wtf? i dont know hardly anyone who doesnt know that band, even when i was overly protected going to a christian school i knew who it was :P. btw, byob, awesome song, crappy strategy 71.213.243.186 20:01, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm going to have to disagree as well; just check the wikipedia page. However, since the song's official (as far as WP goes) name is B.Y.O.B., I'm going to have to say it's a reference to the term. It's also in the first paragraph of the wikipedia page, so that helps. --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 20:06, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
