[edit] Chest Drops Need Research
I don't have any screenies at hand, but I can confirm from memory that the list as it stands is not correct and/or incomplete. It is, for instance, perfectly possible to get two Onyx or two Shard drops from the chest- I've seen this happen to fellow players. At the very least, the article would need rephrasing. I don't have the time to clear FoW over and over to get an idea of the chest drop statistics, but I think it might be a good idea to start gathering screenies if we happen to go there. -- Elveh 10:58, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Some guildies and I just did FoW -- we all recieved 4 items, with a shard, onyx, and key being the only consistent drops. I'll update the article to reflect this. --Mme. Donelle 02:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
"One random inscribable rare item"... This is not always true. I got a Wolf Hammer that was not inscriptible. For the research info i also got a Onyx gem, Shard and obsidian key. --Bob 07:16, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

As you can see, the drops aren't that great. I got a cruddy Air Staff - even though most eles have their attributes high, in the general scheme of things, you'd expect a lower req. Eldin 23:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Is that huge list of rare items really needed? I agree with keeping the really rare items and the ones that are on high demand cos i use that info from time to time, but this list is just ridiculous, might as well add every single gold in the game. French777 18:46, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- It has some relevance thanks to how the drops are inscriptable, so they may not be readily available elsewhere. For example, if someone wants an inscriptable Celestial Sword, farming in Factions would be a waste of time; that person would have to look either here or in the Zaishen Chest or in the Underworld Chest. Meanwhile, this chest does not have an inscriptable Celestial Staff, for example. But I do agree the list is a bit too big right now. Erasculio 20:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
