This skill wasn't bad before the buff. Are we now supposed to use this in PvP or w/e. I don't get it tbh. Readem (talk*gwwcontribs) 23:34, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

It's a much more viable PVP skill now, in my opinion. I tested it out in RA, and it's great for keeping a nearly-constant speed boost, and the blocking lets you bypass pesky Warriors/Dervishes/Assassins on your way to their Monk or other soft casters. You can't keep it up indefinitely, but you can keep it up enough that it's very viable. - Vermain 18:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
It was viable on a PvE Runner. A Speed Buff Elite isnt going to get viable in PvP. Now it's not viable in PvE either. And RA isnt PvP. 84.136.236.177 18:17, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Its extreemly viable for "evasion tanking"(name from WoW build). Before this aparent buff you would have to pack shield stance/defensive stance/escape to get the 75% constant buff, and then theres no reason in rolling ranger. I havn't played in a week so I have yet to take a bite outa this. But try using this with shield stance, to get a constant 75%stance. Halabala Opolis 5:36, 16 August 2007.

Keep in mind, it was originally used mainly for runners; Dodge > Zojun's Haste > Escape. With this buff, you can still do that, the order just changes slightly... Dodge > Escape > Zojun's Haste > Escape > and repeat. Constant 33% speed buff, dodge bonus of near-75% constantly... I orignally used Natural Stride for running, but with the superior dodge bonus, coupled with the fact that you can get hexed with this and not lose it... I may switch over. For me, Escape is finally worth using... -- Jioruji Derako.> 04:14, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

it was worth other than running, now its nerrrrrrfed. 7 September 2007 (CDT)
4secs of down time for 33ims and 75block and people are still whining? 23:20, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Agreed... It clearly is supposed to be a runner/escape skill, not one that you maintain indefinately on your character... -- Frozzen User_Frozzen_sig.PNG 23:29, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
My favorite is Escape plus Dash, 50% ims for 3 seconds, 33% ims for 8, and they both recharge each other. Great for running amber in Fort Aspenwood, as well as quick runs in low-lvl areas (ie Piken -> Grendich -> Yak's). ~ Da Si 04:55, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I think that Escape should be more like Charging Strike... Possibly being able to be maintained indefinetly, however ending upon hitting with an attack or spell, limiting it soley to retreating from battle.76.174.38.191

Escape isn't imbalanced.Frontliners ONLY use defensive elites when they don't need or have an offensive one. Sway ppl don't need an elite because they already have all the damage, DW, and enchant removal they need.72.223.77.197 01:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
