Aika was my second character created, and my first time playing as a non-Ranger. I bought Factions about a week after Prophecies, so Aika isn't far behind Jio in age. At the time, I was choosing between Assassin and Ritualist; I love Assassins, but I ended up choosing Ritualist. Everyone in the game had an Assassin at the time, while Ritualists looked fun and... different. I don't regret the choice.

Kumo came into being quite a while after Aika. I had been playing around with a 'Sin in PvP, by the name of Dirge Konpaku. Falling Spider quickly became my favorite skill (it was pretty popular then too). I finally decided, why not try to bring a Falling Spider build into PvE; thus, Kumo. I quickly found that Falling Spider doesn't have much use in PvE, but Assassins were highly underrated in general (at the time); Kumo's rivaling Jio in playtime at the moment.

Yari was my first new character when I bought Nightfall. I chose Paragon for the same reason I chose Ritualist, back in Factions, and it's a choice I have yet to regret. Yari hasn't made it too far storyline-wise in any games, but he's been all over, and done plenty of jobs. Assault/Support is my current favorite role, and that's probably not going to change anytime soon.

Anji was born just like the rest; I tried Warrior out, and was surprised to find how fun it was. I had originally been turned off by the big, brutish image of Warriors, charging in and pounding until the foe was dead; finding out that there was actually thinking involved was quite a relief. I quickly shot down the option of a male Warrior, so Anji, my first female, was created.

Details:

Ashi is the inevitable Dervish addition to my roster; after running Kumo as a secondary Dervish, Scythe and all, I just had to try the real thing. Ashi hasn't made it far into the game yet, but he's a ton of fun to play; Mystic Regeneration, Mystic Vigor, and all that good stuff is my favorite battle plan, and it works very, very well. He's currently kitted out with Survivor insignia and all minor runes, because I like high health numbers.

Sayuu is my eighth character, created during a bonus EXP event... after a mere ten hours of playtime, she was level 20. Mesmers are rather hard to come by in PvE, and normally for a reason - hard to use. That happens to be the very reason I made Sayuu; brainstorming builds is a hobby of mine, and PvE Mesmer builds are rare, so it's quite a fun challenge. She's already proved quite fun to play with; interrupts are always worth it for that satisfying "click' sound.

Character number nine! I had to buy a character slot for this one. Created during the '07 Halloween event as a PvP character, purely for use in the Costume Brawl games; since I was planning to create a Necromancer anyways, and I didn't plan to make a Monk at the time, I figured I'd lock down my slot and go PvE. Chi's happily hex-spamming her way through anything and everything, and it's a lot of fun... and she's currently my favorite AB character, what with Spiteful Spirit and Insidious Parasite being so nasty on melee. I can't count how many Warriors and Assassins Chi has killed...

Fourteen months after Jio, Katai is my final character. I made it over a year without a Monk, but it's time to end my streak... Katai's on her way to become a very popular character for me. My first serious go for Survivor Title, it took a few tries, but third time's the charm, as they say. Planning to use Katai for a lot of jobs; 600/Smite farming is a popular pastime for a few of my friends, my brother included, and I plan to have in on the action. Wouldn't mind giving a good old 55 Monk build a go as well.
If Jio is the beginning of my Guild Wars experience, Katai is the end; while I don't plan to stop playing anytime soon, hopefully the next character I create will be in Guild Wars 2!

Mahou is, strangely enough, my latest character created after my final character. I've been playing for two years now; there's not all that much I haven't done in the game. I got to the point where the most fun I could have was making a new character all over again.
Hinotama was my Elementalist character; I really love the class, but never really loved Hino that much. Not a lot of good armor styles for a male Elementalist. So Mahou was born; a female Elementalist, Hino's replacement. She quickly reached level 20, and within a few hours, had already picked up where Hinotama left off; setting large groups of foes on fire.
