Dyeable?[edit]

Is this dyeable? --Combatter 09:24, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Yes it is. And very pretty in blue. -- JnKage 09:34, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Yay! Shame the scarves aren't but 3-in-1 is a bonus I suppose and they look cool. --Combatter 09:42, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
What is the default color? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 21:15, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Red. --Combatter 21:36, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Well, sure, it looks red, yes, but what is the ACTUAL color. What dyes recreate the default color? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 23:42, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Who cares? Just buy another for 10g from the hat maker, probably cheaper than dying it back anyway. :P - Ander01 01:25, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
This is an odd bug I dyed mine with two blues and a green and it was nice untill I logged out and the color dissapeared. My three dyes were used and the hoodie went back to red after a few nice teal hours... what gives (99.68.31.101 02:23, 3 January 2012 (UTC))
The ACTUAL color is red - attempting to dye it with a red dye gives the message "The new dye color is identical to the current color" --Combatter 07:28, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
I just got a new hat and attempted to dye it red and received no such warning. The default red and the dyed red are two different colors, at least on my screen. Two reds + 1 brown came fairly close to the default, but my software isn't good enough to tell how close. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 09:33, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Rehash[edit]

To me, this is very close to the Augur of Kormir *(look at the Gallery) so that's kinda lame that we basically get two of the same things this year. I know that the Augur has the blindfold (which is awesome) but it could have been a little more different. I haven't seen it in game yet but from the pictures they are pretty similar. It looks as much as the headpiece for Augur of Kormir as it looks like the headpiece for the Shining Blade Uniform, which is not a lot. To me it looks more like a Dervish headpiece, possibly the norn one, but still not enough for me to be bothered 77.213.235.141 12:18, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Definitely not a reskin of the Augur of Kormir hood. --Durban 02:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
I know its not a reskin people. I meant that they are similar because they are both hoods like this that just happened to come out at the same time. Normally they make up some original ideas for the festival hats but this year it was 2 hoods and 3 scarves and 1....face thingy. Dervish-tango-icon-20.pngDevi 15:39, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

You're right, it's a talk page for the Festive Winter Hood, which was what he was talking about. Thrain | contribs 02:40, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Hood + Guild cape = Awesome[edit]

If you make the hood and guild cape color match, it looks pretty good, as if you had a hooded cape.

But it's not perfect, some of the gray of the cape tie shows through on the left shoulder, which is no big deal, I can use Texmod to make it red like my cape..
