- This hat has clipping issues with armors with a high border and armors with large shoulders.

- The Festive Winter Hood was first awarded during the Wintersday 2011 finale in Lion's Arch and Kamadan to players in the districts where the Avatar of Dwayna gained more supporters than the Avatar of Grenth. The festival hat could also be obtained by exchanging 125 Candy Cane Shards to the Wintersday Hat Giver. These could not be upgraded by insignias or runes, or be salvaged.
