- Yule, or Yule-Tide was a traditional winter festival celebrated by the ancient Germans.
- The Yule Cap was first awarded during the Wintersday 2005 finale in Lion's Arch to players in the districts where the Avatar of Dwayna gained more supporters than the Avatar of Grenth. These could not be dyed, upgraded by insignias or runes, or be salvaged.
