- The Grenth Cap was first awarded during Wintersday 2008 finale in Lion's Arch or Kamadan in the districts where the Avatar of Grenth gained more supporters than the Avatar of Dwayna. These could not be dyed, upgraded by insignias or runes, or be salvaged.
