The Ice Crown is a festival hat obtained during the Wintersday 2007 finale in Lion's Arch. The Yule Cap was awarded to players in the districts where the Avatar of Grenth gained more supporters than the Avatar of Dwayna. Following the conclusion of the event, the hat was also available from the Festival Hat NPCs until noon PST (8 PM GMT) on Thursday, January 8th, 2008.
The white hair is a part of the hat and replaces a character's original hair. The appearance of the hat was altered in the January 10, 2008 update.
