Completely? No. The activation time and energy cost of Life Transfer are both lower, so it would be wrong to say that Life Siphon is strictly better. But the absurd recharge time and the fact that it's an elite makes Life Transfer impractical to use (especially in PvP), making Life Siphon preferable in almost all cases. --SoraMitsukai 17:04, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Life Siphon is better for you where Life Transfer is worse for your enemy. But they did buff it to AoE hex... Noctarch 11:13, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
