Assuming this entry is genuine, this would be the first time the word "Christmas" has been used in-game. ANet take great care in not offending anyone of any particular faith, hence Wintersday. Mis-named? Bogus? Idiocy on my part? --Snograt 12:57, 27 April 2007 (EDT)

Hah, justification :p - for the record, over-blown political correctness really annoys me: I didn't make this point because the word "Christmas" offends me - I am an atheist, and I love Christmas. It is true. Anet does go to great lengths to not offend people and they do stress that it is not Christmas but Wintersday.--Morgase 15:17, 27 April 2007 (EDT)

It makes the game less centered on the American concept. So it can be more easily adapted for other countries where there are less christians. (i think, am i on a good idea here or completely off) --Vhalantru 20:58, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
