Gwen Dialogue?

Nothing in particular, she just looks cool. I didn't realize this focus was unique, though, until I read it here. So this one is worth using? I thought it was weaker than other focuses because it didn't have as many mods on it. Miss Innocent 08:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Not replicable

Just a note, you can't replicate this thing with inscriptions. It's sort of an oddball focus like The Shadestone. Odd that it slipped through the filters, but any caster I know, especially a mez, would take HSR over HCT. ~Seef II <☎|→> 21:15, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

HCT inscriptions ("Don't Think Twice") are applied to the wand; focus get a HSR inscription ("Serenity Now").

Useless stats for mesmer : HCT 10%

The page is about the unique weapon, not the skin. If the skin can be obtained as a PvP reward then it should have its own page. --Irgendwer 23:48, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Any ideas for a nice wand to go with it?

I have been looking for a nice wand to go with this focus for ages now and the best I can find is the Guardian Branch but thats not a mesmer wand. I was looking for something natural like wood or flowery, something that would look particularly good with the rose and would also suit Gwen's Deldrimor armor. I did find this though but I don't think people can get hold of it anymore. So... I was wondering if anyone else had found a wand that looks good with the rose focus? There aren't all that many fast-casting wands available; the only unique is Deldrimor Scepter. Consider using a wood-based spear of some kind: with high fast-casting, the HCT/HSR mods aren't much value; a wand adds conditional energy at best, whereas the spear can add +5 unconditionally; you can get +30 health with the spear; you can add silencing to the spear. I like the Draconic Spear: it colors well, it has some interesting texture, and it has a more natural (rather than metallic) look. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:58, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

If you really do like the guardian branch skin, you could use the Luminescent Scepter and take it to Tolkano to convert the item to a weapon with z coins or reward pts .. though you'd have to put up with bad mods/having to buy 50 basic skins first (200 silver z coins + 8 to buy the guardian branch.. which is about 400k to buy from other people.. -.- (he doesn't offer the peacock wrath skin unluckily) File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 11:03, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Quality idea Chieftain! Someone give that man a medal !!! I can't get Fancy rewards from Tolkano yet so had to put up with the Druidic Wand but thats about as close to the Guardian Branch as it gets. Wow. I ended up using the Deldrimor Scepter for my Mesmer (not hero). I don't know really how to go about getting weapons from Tolkano... I, too, would like a weapon like what Cheiftain wants. :-) Kaisha 00:35, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Keiran

Is it noteworthy that Keiran can be seen giving (or at least trying to give) a rose that surprisingly has the exact same model as this focus to Gwen after Keiran's Scavenger Hunt? That would at least link this item to Gwen similarly to Gwen's Flute (since both are rewards for quests given by who else but Gwen herself) Jeree95 (talk) 15:11, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

I don't recall which quest comes first. If you can do Fire and Pain before the Scavenger Hunt starts, then it wouldn't make sense to add that note imo.
