By the naming convention, shouldn't the map be called "The Affliceted Guard map.jpg"? -- Scourge User Scourge Spade.gif 19:26, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

AFAIK, there's no guideline on what the actual image should be called. GWW:IMAGE only says to keep it clear and intuitive. I myself do name all maps in the same way as your example, but there's really no rule or direct recommendation about it anywhere. --Dirigible 19:35, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
I've seen you upload a heap of maps, if you've done the all 1 way upto now, continue on with it to make everything uniform. -- Scourge User Scourge Spade.gif 19:37, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
Well, User:Fullmana Alchemist uploaded this map initially, I simply uploaded a clearer version on top of that. If I were to replace it with a new properly named one, this would have to be deleted. I personally don't want to be the cause of someone's work getting lost for something this minor (pet peeve!). And I imagine that as the number of quests and different maps submitted increases, mantaining such naming guideline is going to be next to impossible anyways. If you want to reupload it under a new filename, go for it tho. :) --Dirigible 19:43, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
Doesn't the template automatically create the map name, like the weapons templates? -- Scourge User Scourge Spade.gif 19:44, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
Just tested, they don't :P -- Scourge User Scourge Spade.gif 19:51, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

Bug?[edit]

I had accepted this quest earlier today with my sin, and when I was doing a different quest (Passing the Buck) this quest suddenly completed itself for seemingly no reason. - AyaStowar

It could be that either A: the gaurds near his spawn point miraculously managed to kill him, or B: another group (I.E. Jade brotherhood) that was related to your other quest spawned near that point, aggroed, and defeated him. I can't think of any other explanation then that, though. (also fixed the quest link) Are you sure it was for no reason at all? You might have killed Afflicted Guardsman Chun while running around talking to the ministers. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 01:05, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Yep, just confirmed that the quest completed itstelf without going near the area, or killing Chun for that matter. Unless there is an alternate spawn location, your guess is as good as Wandering Traveler. UglyLooking 02:44, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

There is no mystery about it. The group of afflicted around him don't spawn until you get closer to that spot, and so he ends up all by himself, and gets owned by all the peasants there. Tool 311 18:56, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
