Worthy?[edit]

is this worth using?--92.2.174.14 19:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

If you know you're gonna be clobbered by lots of elemental damage, then yes. 24 armor is pretty significant. Krelus Derian 19:37, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Try using it with Ward Against Harm if you know there will be a lot of fire damage, It's extremely awesome. --MageUser MageMontu sig.pngMontu 19:40, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Isn't there a cap on the amount of armor you can gain from a single skill?--99.241.76.164 01:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
I believe the cap exists in regards to armor gained from multiple skills. A single skill does not have a cap. For instance Kinetic armor giving a +60 would net you the whole amount, but then using it with armor of earth would still just get you the +60 not the combined amount. I think the limit for armor bonuses from multiple skills is capped at +40....Loki207.71.50.165 17:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Comparison[edit]

Is this completely inferior to Ebon Battle Standard of Courage in every aspect, or am I missing something?--99.230.145.201 15:50, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Wow, a PvE skill might be better than a non-elite skill? This has never happened!!!!!! (/sarcasm) Yes, it's obviously inferior. Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 15:54, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Well it does free up a pve only slot... Tidas 15:55, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) x2Well, inferior in that it costs more and you have to spec into an attribute, but EBSC is PvE only, tied to a title, and only obtainable via a quest reward that can only be obtained by completing a multitude of other quests prior to. --Freedom Bound 15:56, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
But those quests are easy. And really, it's the smartest ward to take for armor (that is, if you really want a ward). Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 16:02, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Well Ward Against Harm can be more useful if you know your going to come up against large amounts of fire damage. Also, why wouldn't you want a ward? Tidas 16:05, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Because there are other skills that are better at damage reduction (e.g. "Save Yourselves!", "There's Nothing to Fear!"). Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 16:30, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
