Regarding the note[edit]

IMO, it's unnecessary. It's caused by the effect of Loose Magic, not the area. The area is merely affected by Loose Magic. Just like how we don't have the note that the Halo/flaming head/glow from horns go through tonics and disguises on every tonic and disguise page because they're affected by the bug, we shouldn't have the note here but rather on Loose Magic and Tonic. -- Konig/talk 00:02, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

This effect is noteworthy because it's highly unusual and relevant to gameplay: this is the only location in the game where it's possible to spam tonics without zoning. The other examples you cite are not that unusual and strictly cosmetic.
If I were a newer player looking at this article, I would want to be told about this situation; otherwise, I might never learn about it unless I happened to be looking at Loose Magic (and why would I?) or the specific tonic articles.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:12, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
I would think that if someone were looking for information about tonics - like the best way to use them up - they'd go to Tonic and not here. Yes, it's a nice fact and the fact that Loose Magic only occurs here (for now) does mean this is the sole place where they can be spammed, it is still a mere secondary effect. -- Konig/talk 00:22, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Move to Asuran laboratory[edit]

I'm against this for two reasons: (1) to the extent that players refer to this, I hear (see?) Zinn's Lab or Zinn's Laboratory. (2) Sure, there might be a bit of dialogue relating to an Asuran laboratory, but given the size of Zinn's ego and his lack of respect for authority, Zinn's Lab is the more likely name. (As a minor objection, I think it's more likely that Asuran officials would say, Laboratory as opposed to Lab.)

The sole, in-game reference we have is:

"The river leads through the mountains into Divinity Coast and the hidden Asuran Lab" Secret River Passage#Dialogue

This reads to me like a generic instruction, much as we might have, "Take the I-90 to exit 78, which leads to the main Chicago airport", versus "take the John F. Kennedy Expressway to the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway, which leads to Chicago O'Hare International Airport". Both phrases include official terminology; neither is sufficient in tracking down the difference between official and local naming conventions. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 15:43, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Zinn's Lab is what people refer to it in game - capitalisation doesn't really make a blind bit of difference, but its predominantly known as Zinn's lab and not Asuran Lab. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 15:54, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
I merely placed that there since it's the official terminology. But since unofficial is preferred to official, that's fine (not like redirects exist or anything). The fact that "Asura Lab" is capitalized doesn't mean a single thing either apparently. Whatever, I won't fight it - especially the fact that two comments doesn't merit the removal of a maintenance tag. -- Konig/talk 16:25, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
