THIS IS IT! THE GUIDE YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!! The (unofficial) official Scars Meadows imbagon guide!

This bar has been given out on several Guild Wars Guru forums, but I haven't seen much mention of it on the wiki. It's basically what beat Mallyx in Hard Mode, cleared FoW and UW in record times, and makes a joke of PvE in general (not that it wasn't a joke to begin with, but this seriously allows party members to go afk and still win). It is the epitome of brokenness - for all those paragons who bitch about being nerfed to the point of uselessness, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!

  • Spear Mastery: 12+1
  • Leadership: 10+1+1
  • Command: 8+1 (to meet the shield req; more armor is always better)

Optional slot choices:

Spear of Lightning may be switched out for Vicious Attack or Spear of Fury. Spear of Fury isn't good against Mallyx, because you can't use conditions on him, and thus you'd never trigger the additional adrenaline gain.

GtfE may be switched out for Watch Yourself (useful if you have more than one imbagon in the party). Remember to take a Tactics-req shield if you drop Command.

Anthem of Flame may be replaced with Anthem of Weariness (this is pretty much required if you're running multiple imbagons, so their AoF's don't stack at the wrong time and allow AR to drop). Also, if you have two imbagons, the second may drop the Anthem entirely for something like "Fall Back!".

[edit] Usage

  • Use Agg Refrain at the start of each map, or before aggroing a mob. AR can be kept up by two imbagons chaining TNTF while running (energy isn't an issue with such high leadership, and not stopping to recast AoF 9001 times really speeds things up). If you're solo imbagonning, you'll either have to AoF your way across the map or just re-cast AR before each mob.
  • As you enter combat, throw TNTF up and activate Focused Anger. In multiple-imbagon parties, remember not to use TNTF all at once, as repeated shouts will just waste energy. Multiple imbagons should chain TNTF with a fraction of a second downtime (so the healing effect occurs between shouts).
  • Chain "Save Yourselves!" similarly to TNTF; it's harder to chain these (because it doesn't target the caster), but will become second nature after imbagonning for awhile. Also, using ventrilo will ease SY chaining.
  • Use GtfE on recharge to maintain energy.
  • Don't suck. You have no res because you are expected to keep everyone alive. If you screw up on your TNTF/SY chains and your party dies, it's all your fault.
