Image help

Can anyone give me an explanation of how to get pics on the wiki, I find it rather confusing.

Much apprecated,Jon Will 12:43, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

The easiest way to upload an image is to create a link on the page you want it on. If it's for your userpage, it would be [[Image:User Jon Will <imagename>.<extension>]]. This will create a red link. When you click on it, it will take you to the upload page where you can browse your computer for the correct image. Make sure you select the options for User image and anything else that is appropriate like Screenshot. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 12:47, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Color Schemes

I remember seeing the colours that relate to each proffession somewhere about on the wiki, and I can't for the life of me remember where they were... I mean for example the colours used on this page. I'm especially interested in the pale pastel colour in the background. Mainly for an spreadsheet for all the elite skills, anyone know where to find them? Jon Will 15:36, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

As a further note, I found them and found their RGB evivalents; was a pain as I had to use Paintshop to eyedrop them. But I got there in the end...

The RGB for the pastel colours are are as follows

Pastel Colours
Prof R G B
W 255 255 204
R 238 255 204
Mo 204 238 255
N 204 255 238
Me 238 221 255
E 255 221 221
A 255 238 255
Rt 221 255 255
P 255 238 204
D 238 238 255

I saw your edit summary. Don't worry, you can't break the policy by reverting yourself. :P -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 13:02, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh yeah, I went and looked up the policy after I did it, and found the bit about that. Still confused as to why it broke everyone's userboxes, but I think it's due to the way everyone has user boxes set up like this... {{userbox|info|words|more words}} And when I put the height and width things in, it messee those up... But oh well, back to the drawing board. - Jon Will 13:11, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

"(Undo revision 1872309 by Im Irrelevant (Talk) - Better grammatically.)" You sure about that? I suppose you need to learn proper grammar then.--Im Irrelevant 16:47, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

"Complete or abandon the quest and rezone." is better grammatically than "Complete the quest or abandon the quest and rezone." As it avoids the repetition of "the quest", Perhaps it should have commas... e.g. "Comeplete Complete, or abandon, the quest and rezone." - Jon Will 16:51, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
How about "Complete (or abandon) the quest and rezone."? -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 16:55, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Or maybe "Complete - or abandon - the quest and rezone." (I believe hyphens can be used by that... Then again GCSE English was about 6 years ago now.) - Jon Will 16:56, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Either complete or abandon the quest, then rezone.
Either complete the quest or abandon it, then rezone. piper doesn't talk 16:58, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Page Changed! "Either complete or abandon the quest, then rezone.". - Jon Will 17:11, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
