Born in Shing Jea to a dead mother and no father, she was raised by the instructors. Going blind at the age of six, she first saw the spirit realm in the flame of a candle - it was a black flame, signaling that one of the most powerful Ritualists was about to come into her power. She works with the instructors in Shing Jea, communing with the dead and living alike, teaching the secrets of the boundaries in between the Mists.
