Last seen online feature in the GuildWars messenger or friends list however you may name it.
- Why this is a good idea
A friend of yours doesn't have to be in your guild. You can see when a friend was online so you can imagine when he'll return or if he has played lately.
- Why it may not work out
Can't think of any reason, the last seen online parameter is stored on the servers any way, and the traffic overhead is zero to none.
