Random thought: I already find it mildly disturbing that sometimes I'm on random peoples' friends lists that I don't even know. Letting them know the last time I was online, too, just seems kind of creepy. O_O

That aside, I can see how it may be kinda useful for friends and, ah, "business parters", especially these days when not that many people are online every single day/week/month >.> Vili User talk:Vili 13:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I get what you say about the creepy part, I think that you should have 2 kinds of friends 1-way (if I have you on my list but you don't have me) and 2-way friends (when we both have eachother on our lists) PaddoSwam 16:37, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

I like this idea dn I also like Paddo's suggestion but I also think Paddo's idea would need too much encoding to be time effective. However I am in favour of this idea being implemented as I would love to clear up my friends list but I cant as i dont know whos still playing and who isnt. -- Salome User salome sig2.png 09:31, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
encoding time? If you mean time to implement, write code or program it I think it's a matter of minutes rather than hours. Simply because of the fact that you see the usernames it means it has userid's (that's how it's saved) with those ID's it's easy to find out display:user->last_seen_online it's almost as simple as I put it here, but I'm not a developer so can't change it myself ;) PaddoSwam 21:37, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

The creepy thing could be solved to sent an invitation to the person to be in your friends list. But the idea itself is good. You arn't always in the same Guild so you can't see when your friend was online. And i don't think it will cost much encoding but i can't say that for sure though.--RukiaDarkling 10:23, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Option 1: How about 2 choices when adding someone: Anonymous List (last time online doesnt show) or Public List (last time online shows) but you must approve it. Let say someone I know add me and they want Public List, I must confirm it first before it becomes P.L otherwise they get me as Anonymous List.
Option 2: Option 1 only goes 1-way but what if you want it to go both ways? If I already have someone added on my instant messenger before they added me and they want Public List, once I confirm it they automatically get P.L on my instant messenger too!.--Ridz16 10:54, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
