(Discussion)[edit]

Me and my friends, (and many other players all over the world) like to give presents to each other for christmas, birthday, etc. Currently this is done by simply giving him/her the item(present) in trade menu, which, I think is a little impersonal.I thought that a Present giver NPC could be implemented in the game. It would work like this: When talking to the present giver npc, a window would pop up, and you could choose which item you want to send to your buddy. Then, you would have to pay a pre-set amount of gold, and the box would appear at your buddy's inventory. The name of the box could be : Present from {player name} to:player name} The box would be customised at the moment it appears in one's inventory, so the chance of scams would be minimal. To decrease the chace of scamming even further, these presents couldn't be put into the trade window. It could be opened with double clicking just like any other in-game present.

Why this is a good idea
  • People could have a more "personal" contact in the game, and it would also perk wintersday and other events up a bit.

Why it may not work out
  • Some people may make jokes about it, and use it to flood other people's inventories, but with a bit of creativity, this could be solved too.
just a note on that one if it cost like 1k or something to do it the people trying to flood the persons inventory would have to pay a fortune for something that the person getting it could just open and sell the crap he/she is getting
