User talk:Xeeron/suggestions/Present Giver (npc)

Well it actually seems like your idea is more impersonal than just going up to your friend and saying "Merry Wintersday" and handing them a gift, but I do see what you're getting at. If I could modify your idea somewhat, I think it would be a cool idea to be able to gift wrap a present for a friend. So when you trade to them all they see is a wrapped present that they can open up. It would also be cool if you had this NPC you're talking about that you gift the present to, with your friend's name and some cash, but rather than have it just appear in a box for them, that it actually drops from an foe after they've killed them. Yeah that would mean the person would have to kill an enemy to get it, but nothing would be more surprising than seeing an enemy drop you a present, that when you open it you find out it came from your friend. Besides, it would help encourage players to well, play during the holiday events, rather than just show up for a hat like some do. Just a thought.--Cattivo 23:21, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
