- There is no requirement that the username be part of the signature, as long as it links to the proper userpage and does not attempt to impersonate another user. --

- Sorry, my nickname at the time was a dig at myself; my terrible spelling and my habit of putting in the wrong word and I couldn't think of anything good to put there at the time. - While it unfortunaley isnt an absolute requirement to resemble the Username to at least some degree its very well common pratise (kind of an unwritten Law) and every one does it and it helps recognizing the User who wrote a comment. I find it always confusing to read some random fantasy text then click it and wonder where the link took me when realizing where I actually am after clicking the Signature Link. --SilentStorm

- It not being an "absolute requirement" doesn't mean it's perfectly alright to do it. A useful and helpful signature is what the signature policy tries to explain, and showing your actual username in your signature is useful and helpful - it shows the name of the user account that is contributing rather than a random name that isn't connected to your account. --

- Your contribution's show that your first entry was made after I started to distinguish myself as Forbidden Truth. Which begs the question, who's impersonating who? Perhaps a Sysop can check if your account was created before or after my first Forbidden Truth distinguishing post, if it was before I will gladly change my name ^_^ I will have to defer to a Sysop for judgement if your account was generated after this time, I don't know if its a first in first served kind of situation.
