Userboxes <3

Hei fear! Since you wanted to make your own userboxes, I'll try to explain how to do it here..
This is the userbox template:

Now, what to fill in as parameters.. I'll try to explain that with the following example-userbox which I made specially for you.

<3	This user thinks Turtles are the greatest creatures in the entire world of Guild Wars.

The coding for this userbox is this:

• In the userbox above, parameter1 is the coding that results in the nice picture of a Siege Turtle, in this case the Miniature version which I stole off your userpage. You can fill in anything you want as parameter1, from images to normal text, but I suggest downscaling larger images a bit, as I did with this one: I added |50px to the code of the image, to rescale its horizontal edge to 50 pixels.
• parameter2 is the colour of the background of the section in which your turtle resides, aswell as the colour of the border of your userbox. In the userbox above I chose pink. You have two options for this:
  • 1) you can make your own colour, as I did, using #RGB , in which R stands for red, G for green and B for blue. R, G and B range from 0 to F, meaning #000 stands for Black, #FFF stands for White, #F0F stands for purple and so on.
  • 2) you can use a profession-colour template, for instance {{me-color}}. This will result in a mesmer-pink colour. You can also use {{me-color|lighter}} or {{me-color|dark}} if you want darker or lighter versions of this colour. {{me-color|light}} is default and results in the same colour as {{me-color}}. Of cource, you can do this for any profession, just replace "me" with, for instance, "w", "p", "d", "mo", "rt", "r" or "Any" (Any resulting in a gray-no-profession colour.)
• parameter3 is the description in the right side of your userbox. Text, images, links that you want in your userbox-description go in here.
• parameter4 is the colour of the background of the description section, and works exactly the same as parameter2.

This is all I can teach you about userboxes, I hope it's enough. There also are a few templates which you can just add to your userpage such as {{User PvP}}, {{User Kurzick}}, {{User Male}}, {{User PvE&PvP}} and so on. You can find most of these templates at the Category:User templates.
