When i would like to wait on something, ill stand on your average Dutch train station and wait many hours on a train.
When i play a game, i would like to be actively playing it. (Demonic Cobra 14:00, 24 January 2009 (UTC))

So your suggestion to fix a stupid, boring objective is to leave it in the game? I've heard very few less thought out suggestions. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 23:23, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Yes my suggestion is to leave it in the game, because Anet will not remove this part of HoH. But to make some what more interesting, the time wasted on this map should be decreased. At the current state, just 3 people are active for a compleet team. Demonic Cobra 23:40, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
An intelligent solution would be to either change the objective completely so the whole team can do something, or remove it from the game. Anet has removed pvp objectives from the game many times before. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 02:23, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
This random selection of 3 games has been brought into the game because of people running builds for King of the Hill. It doesnt mean all 3 are bad. Relic run is just boring for a lot of people because you are waiting for at least 6 mintues. For the 3 running relics it is not a very pleasant time either, relic running is not fun. Most of the action happens in the last 2 minutes anyways. Demonic Cobra 10:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
No, there is a random selection of three objectives because Izzy couldn't balance the game, and people found out that it's easy to run superdefensive fortressway - the only requisite to get to halls is to roll one or two shitty randomways in the first few maps. Anet thought if they added more objectives, it might somehow get rid of those randomways. Lo and behold, they're still there, and anytime anybody half-decent wants to win halls, they roll up any build they want, beat the scrubs in UW, then skip to halls.
I'll agree that KotH is better at preventing exploits than Altar Capping, and I'll even say Cap Points in halls isn't bad (it's not good either). However, having an objective that requires two people to run back and forth and one person to stand still while spamming one skill while the other 5 of them afk is not strategic nor interesting in any way. The last 30 seconds are all that matter, but even that isn't based on skill. Nothing about relics makes it fun, interesting, sensical, or balanced, and that's why it shouldn't be here. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 08:47, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
